Damn, I don't think I can name 5 people on the Hornets.

Yep, all year some argued that New Orleans was going to get it, since they were so thoroughly hosed by ownership, and then CP3 bailed, and now its played out exactly that way, i am not a big believer in rigging but damn do they ever make it look incredibly dirty. Year after year teams with long odds and good storylines win it, over and freaking over. Mighty suspicious.
#3 guarantees us getting someone very good, but man did I want 1 or 2. Any guess as to who Charlotte would take at #2? Would they just go MKG a la the consensus, or would they take a Beal, Robinson, or a Drummond there?
#3 is going to be real interesting, i have no idea who 3 would be on our board, though its certainly rumored to be whomever falls between Beal or MKG.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Lottery
THE NBA IS TOTALLY FIXED.
Unbelievable. New owner + total Chris Paul debacle = NO first pick.

Could have been so much worse. I just hope we make the logical move and take Beal. Something I'm not entirely sure I trust we'll do.

Fix, I said the NBA would reward the New Orleans Hornets.

I really want to give up on the NBA, I feel like a battered spouse. It's so clear something is wrong with this league, but I keep coming back.

A friend of mine at work is a Laker fan, we agreed MONTHS ago that the Hornets would win the lottery... and Benson buying the team is just icing on the cake.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Lottery
Unfair but oh well. Beal is probably more of a sure thing than Davis anyway. MKG i have some doubts about, but I think Charlotte will take him so we won't have to make that decision.

We didnt get hosed. We got third. We could have ended up worse.

Oh I'm not complaining about our pick, not for one second. I'm complaining about the clear as day corruption in this league, the wacky officials..I mean it's all in our faces every year. I'm holding out hope Wall is the guy to lead us to the big time.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Lottery
Good for the Hornets. If I could pick any other team besides the Wizards to win, it would be them.
It's too bad we couldn't land Davis, but I'm very relieved to at least have a top 3 pick.
So now the debate that will go on for the next month: Beal or MKG?
I'm 100% on the Beal train.
