Why is everyone mooning over Beal? Dude missed 8 of 12 shots. We're setting the bar pretty low if that qualifies as finding your shot.

I'm glad Beal played well at the end people who says Beal a bust is wrong he still learning and tonight he looked more confidence. I'm glad we lost that put more Pressure on Ted and Ernie.

I am going to assume it had something to do with Livingston being the PG for most of the comeback?

It wasnt just Livingston, it was the line up.

Livingston
Beal
Singleton/Booker in what ever order they were playing.
Barron

But now Booker looks like he is injured. I'm beating it is the foot again since it happened after he want up on a drive. Sad, but they probably need to let Booker go. To injured. To much of a tweaner.

Yeah, he hasn't been efficient at all and he's getting his shots blocked more than any player I've ever seen! I don't think he has a quick enough release and his shot doesn't have much arch on it.

Because he has been playing like as and once they put in a line up that worked better for him he played pretty good.

End up 3-6 from 3 and 7-9 from the line with 18 pts. And he was a big part of the come back.

I didn't catch much of the first half and haven't checked out the full box yet, but Beal hit a few threes during the run in the third. That's what I was basing it off of.

Why does Okafor suck so much? He started but only saw 9 minutes, missed all 4 shots he took, and grabbed one (offensive) board.

I don't understand Randy. He plays Okafor very, very sparingly, I don;t think there has been a game where he has cracked 20 minutes. Same with Ariza. Yet, he keeps them in the starting line-ups? For what purpose?

All i can think is that it gets us down by enough points that the second unit can't bring us back no matter how hard they play, and thus preserving the tank job.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

We played 9 games and he score 18 points give the kid Beal a break he's still improving he will be a lot better once Wall comes back. Beal is not the problem were 0-9. I wonder what's Ted Excuse going to be on his blog.

4-12, with 7 made FTs, is a step up after going 1-11

plus most of his points game in the 2nd half when it mattered

New Orleans GM is a very smart to get the Rashard Lewis expiring contract and dump 2 over paid role players on us. And as for Ernie......... not so very smart.

The slow release was a concern of mine. But he can adjust. He did one nice play to pump fake and then get the player to commit where he got the foul. That is one way to do it. Defenders are charging at his shot and he doesn't have to moves to make them pay for it yet. His handles aren't there to blow by them and drive. He does drive ok in other situations though. Just glad we got to see him play better. I was really starting to worry.

Right now, he needs someone that can get him open looks. Longer term, he should be able to speed up his release and learn to make players pay for over playing him.

Beal would greatly benefit from having Wall out there. And the team would greatly benefit from having Nene out there. They have no reliable post scorer. Kevin isn't there yet. And he still plays to soft.

Livingston or Crawford have to start at PG. End this Price starting nightmare I am in.

With the right line ups, this team can look a lot better. It just they don't have complete players so how you combine them make a huge different. One wrong piece out there messes up the entire line up.

I get that Beal shot marginally better than he has in the past, but I see no evidence he has found his shot. As far as I can tell, he remains what he has been since we drafted him -- a shooting guard who shoots poorly.

Randy post game.

I just don't know who to play. I dont know who to start or who to play. Well that much he has right.

How about just doing the obvious. Stop your Price love and the line ups will be a lot easier brother.

How about starting a group that actually played well together the previous game.

And if all else fails, put in a group of young hungry players with Livingston or Crawford at PG.

Be very careful with Kevin in the post because he can play like a complete punk at times. When he does, but in Barron.

Its not that complicated.

Just start Livingston if you can't figure it out. He is a PG and you need one.
Most night Trevor A and Ves are going to give you effort. You want something to count on. There. Play them.
Crawford will drive every night if you tell him to. He will also hit his FTs. And he can create and pass.
Singleton will bring his energy most night. You can count on that.
Beal can shoot some nights and is highly reliant on line ups that work well for him. But he always defense.

Everyone else is streaky.
Webster is a spot of 3 ball shooter. So is Martin. Use them that way at SG
Booker will scape for rebounds but you can't count on him to score.
Kevin is a scoring PF who doesn't box out or rebound well. He is going to give up as much as he scores.
Price does nothing better then someone else who should be out there.

You want your rotations. Here since you say you have no idea.
Crawford, Livingston
Webster, Beal, Martin
Trevor A, Booker
Ves, Singleton
Okafor, Barron

Your come back line up was below. Remember it between two games. Or just start that line up.

Livingston
Beal
Booker
Singleton
Barron

There are lots of combination that can work. Just none of them include starting Price and playing his 24 to 35 minutes a game. So stop doing it. I would also not count on Kevin at all at this point.

Not to mention that we gave up a 2nd round draft pick for the privilege of clearing the Hornets salary cap.

I was hopeful that perhaps that trade would work out, but at this point it's pretty clear that Ernie had something done to him that rhymes with grape.

I hope it reaches Ted, I imagine it will...

If Ernie wakes up jobless tomorrow, we all owe you a beer.

Yep, Booker has the same foot problems as Nene and it looks-like he has already arrived at being an injury-prone player. I wouldn't keep him.
