Really positive game for us. McClellan looks like he could break the rotation. We finally won a road game. We just passed Detroit for the 10th seed.

McClellan really gets up there for rebounds. Saw it a couple times tonight.

I think his head is still foggy and maybe they brought him back too soon. Every person is different, but in some cases it's not uncommon for concussion effects to last up to 3-4 weeks

Good win and a rare nice job by the bench for keeping the game close before the starters could close it out.

Chicago is slow and they can't shoot.

It's hilarious how bad Rondo is at modern NBA basketball

Holy hell Chicago is awful, what a dysfunctional team. How is rondo still in the NBA?

Good road win in spite of poor 3 point shooting. Glad to see Gortat getting more touches lately. He was the forgotten man earlier in the season.

Wall with 14 fgas and 7 ftas. That is what i like to see. He only took 2-3 midrange shots, half of what he usually takes. 9 assists, 3 steals and only 2 turnovers didn't hurt either.

Watched the CHI feed on delay. A few thoughts:

1. I like when WAS sets Wall's pick and roll well above the three point line, so that Wall can use his speed to beat the help defender to the rim and/or get him out of position. IIRC, Wittman's sets had Gortat setting screens right at the top of the arc and/or top of the key; that gave Gortat a shorter path to roll to the rim, but gave Wall less real estate to turn on the afterburners. CLE does this for LeBron all the time; I'm glad to see Brooks take a page from that book.

2. The Wizards' bench have been upgraded from "triple sell" to "don't buy." I'd still take CHI's bench over ours in a heartbeat, but I'll give Brooks props for turning Grunfeld's ingredients into a somewhat edible chicken salad.

3. Man, the Bulls looked old and slow.

4. I'm not ready to hoist McClellan's jersey to the rafters yet, but he's shown the ability to not stink or fall over. He's a decent emergency plug-in -- especially seeing as I'm guessing that other teams probably won't bother to scout him too much.

The Dubs and the Spurs announcing teams can be pretty insufferable. I like to think that Buck and Phil are fairer than most. Sometimes, watching the opposing team's feed on League Pass has me like...

(Eh, just wanted an excuse to use the Grayson Allen vine. That guy's a caricature of a college hoops villain)

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch last night -- first time this year. Looking at the box score, 3 Bulls starters combined to go 14 of 40. In all they missed 57 shots!!

We're starting to look more like the 40-win team I thought we'd be.
