It makes us especially better, b/c gambit also wants to include our 2019 R1 pick. :)

Dellavedova is a terrible player. Henson is nothing special. We need to keep our picks. This is an awful trade idea.

The obsession with trading Mahinmi is strange. He value is low right now, but he does have a really good skill set for an elite defensive big with efficient, but low usage offense. He'll never be worth his salary, but he could be a real factor this year for us.

The center I would have gone after rather than Cousins - assuming his cost was as low as I think it was - is Javale McGee. And then try to dump Mahinmi. He still fouls too much, and he probably shouldn't play more than 20 minutes a game, but he was brilliant last season, and winning a ring and gaining maturity has helped him become a good player. He just re-signed with GS - I'm guessing for a lot less than his value.

Well piff my dear friend I did say a 2018 second or a 2019 first obvious you try to give as little as possible and of you can get the deal don't with out the picks you obviously try that first.

It's not an awful trade Delly fit so well here it's stupid. He's not a starting point guard that why he's stuffing in milwaki he is versitle but he needs a bench roll. Him playing next to wall and beal and Tomas would really help him who does he play with in now. Pretty much no one worth mentioning. He would fit much better in this team than he does his current team and like I said he's on a reasonable salary. He shots the 3 ok and defends well, he also protects the ball and is not overly turn over prone.
Henson like I've said before is not going to give you any or much less than mahinmi is gonna give you on 15 minutes low usage. And he's much cheaper.
Think of it this way mahinmi could blow an acl and be out for the season day one. So could Henson or Delly. But would you rather have a 16 million dollar injury hole or a 10 million ish hole and a nother useful bench player ?
I honestly like mahinmi as a player and if he was healthy I wouldn't complain or try to trade him every five seconds or if he was paid 9-12 mill . But he's not and Henson and Delly represent better values and can be valuable to the team more than an over priced and Injured mahinmi. And if he goes down we can't trade him until he heals up again . Trade him now why he's up and moving. That's my point.

Delly is a bad player. He is worth 2-3M per year and is paid 4-5X that amount. He is a Tim Frazier caliber PG, and we pay him 2M.
Mahinmi is a better player than Henson, and its not close. Just go to the Bucks board and you see the disdain for the guy. He is freakishly long, so he will get some blocks and put backs. But his IQ is laughable and plays losing basketball... What is losing basketball?
inefficient chuckers, lazy defensive rotations, poor picks (Especially bigs), Ball stopping, bad body language, poor practice/work ethic etc.
Henson is not particular inefficient, but he plays poor team defense, doesnt free shooters with picks, doesnt pass, and mopes around. We are playing to win in the post season... We DO NOT want him

Do you watch John henson play? Cuz I have and do, do you watch Delly play? I do. How has Morris played with us? His issues in phonix we're personal. He has issues with Kidd and he's in kids dog house the kid needs a change of pace and all the things you say Henson is a lot of that will be help but a better environment and his issues are not nearly what you say they are, go watch a few hours of actual game play footage of the kid and get back to me.
Now Delly. I'm not saying he's a starter. I honestly don't think he's that over paid either, 9 mill for a solid ball handler, good defender, hi bbiq, that's worth it, is he an offence dinamo no. He can hit his 3# and frees but yes not in any way a bad player. He looks worse than he is with the bucks because he's being asked to do something he's not meant to do. He's not meant to be a starter he's a solid bench player. That's what he is. The bucks are the main reason Delly hasn't looked very good. You have a much better case against Delly than you do Henson I'll give you that but look tell me how much you don't want Henson and Delly when mahinmi blows an acl and is out for the year and we have a 16 million it bill and we have Jason Smith and ochifu as our primary back ups again.

I cant help you if you cant help yourself. Henson is bad player. His best year was 2014-15, in which RPM ranked him 350 out of 475 players...and thats his best year. Again, his TS, ORtg/DRtg can appear pretty good at times. But then why does he consistently get TERRIBLE On/Off numbers?
Like I said, being a ball stopper, physically soft, poor pick setter, poor defensive rotations, etc. dont show up in those stats, but they do show up in +-.
Go to the Bucks board and read their comments, and Im not talking about emotional game threads where people get caught up. Im talking about full threads about the guy:
Soft as a baby's behind. Is completely unable to play tough and against any opponent. Routinely takes a pass which should convert to assist, but gets intimidated by opponent presence within 5 squared meters that he pumps fakes or hastily puts it up and misses. Refuses to dunk 99% of the time precisely because he is a female trapped in a man's(?) body which results to missing sitters. Defensive liability. Ball movement liability. Occasionally can put up some decent hooks. Occasionally will block some shots. Has a kind face, is probably a very nice person.

Please please please trade him for a top 55 protected pick. Please?

John Henson **** sucks. The Bucks fan in me wishes you would trade for him, but the general basketball fan in me wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. You guys have a good thing going, don't let him screw that up.

Low motor. No range. No muscle. No general improvement for a lottery pick. The Bucks would ship him out in a heartbeat for peanuts with that albatross contract, but it'll be hard to find a team willing to take him I suppose.

No thanks on Henson, everything about him just says guy who doesn't really give a ****. He's kind of got a post contract year Mark Blount kind of vibe but looks happier on the bench.

Does Mahinmi for Monroe make sense for both teams? Monroe is a massive downgrade defensively but his deal expires after next season.

Monroe is not the one to go after, Like I said before mahinmi and smith (2018 second or 2019 first and aaron white) for henson and delly is the smart trade, we need to upgrade our bench, this does that, at both spots. We could also d them a slid and send them tim frazier, he can't be traded as part of another trade but they have a 5 mill trade exception and we would get a 2 mill tpe back for him. save us a little tax money, helps our bench, and they get rid of guys they have fallen out with and get a good bench compliment for monroe.

Putting aside the fact that Monroe is better than Delly and Henson, who are marginal at best and highly overpaid, this move is about gaining flexibility. Monroe expires after next season, while Delly and Henson's deals run through 2020, same as Mahinmi. I'd much rather go into 2018 FA comfortably under the tax and able to upgrade the roster (in theory anyway - can't forget we have an idiot at the helm). With few teams having cap space in 2018, there will be much better players than Delly/Henson available for far cheaper.

It's fine if you've watched Henson & Delly play but it doesn't stop the fact that both were replacement level players last year. I like Delly and would take him over Frazier but the fact is he wasn't very good and is paid an awful lot. Henson is just a bad player. It has nothing to do with Kidd. It has to do with Henson's well established reputation as being lazy. He hasn't worked on his game or his body. He's been in the league for 5 years and hasn't improved one iota.

I'd rather just keep Mahinmi. Delly is barely playable. Henson is not. Mahinmi (if healthy) is at least a solid defensive C.

Monroe for Mahinmi would be a dream come true as it gets us out of Mahinmi's deal 2 years early.

If you're an opposing player/fan, Morris is the guy you want to shoot every time. Most teams have players like him, and it's what prevents these teams (including us) from being elite offensively. The fix for him is quite simple and does not require Morris to put in more effort or be more talented: only shoot 3's and take shots around the rim.

That would help, but it wouldn't be "the fix" for Morris. Even in his very best year by far, 2013-14, he was below average as a defensive rebounder, below average as an offensive rebounder, turned it over more than average, fouled more than average, & blocked less than average -- & he's never been near as good as he was that year.

Overall on his career, & as a Wizard last year, Markieff isn't really good enough to be any kind of rotation player. He is nowhere near good enough to start.

Like anything, gambit, alcohol is fine if you use it right -- if it's not in control of you. But... if you're getting drunk w/ any frequency then, yes, it is in control of you. None of my business, ok? But get help if you need it, young brother.

Didn't beal have them type of years before this one??

No. He wasn't very good. But he was a whole lot better than Markieff!

Moreover, Bradley Beal turned 23 last June. A few months later the season began, & he took a big jump.

Markieff is about to turn 28. His years of improving are over. He's entering his 7th season; his career is likely more than half over. He's not a good player; he's a bad player. & he has no future.
