I love the way Isaiah Thomas has owned John Wall. 60th player picked andn almost every time he goes up against John Wall his team wins.

When the Wizards go out in the first round again we'll talk

When Kyrie Irving came out I said I would trade John Wall for him. Kyrie Irving HAS a championship ring and he is considered better than John Wall as a scorer

I would take Lonzo Ball right now on a rookie deal over this John Wall.

Wall is capable of being a superstar OVER spurts within games. HOWEVER, he makeS the same mistakes over and over again mainly because of this stupid coach and the offense the Wizards run

The reason I am so down on wall as he lacks the main quality I like in a player and that is leadership. His character is of one that is a hey look at me I'm better than you instead of I know what's best for the team in a certain time and place. He gets trapped in mano a mano one-on-one battles and he holds the ball and misses. He does not pass to the players that need to be shooting like Otto Porter. I am right about John Wall and you going to be showing wrong you're the one that's blind since you want to go there

Hey I'm a disabled veteran so I'm going to leave all those autocorrect there is in there. John Wall is going to be making 200 million dollars over for 5 year. And I am not going to sit here and ride his jock like you do

Yep that got me triggered. Vesely was a lazy bum who didn't want to put in the work to be a good NBA player. Wall absolutely had nothing to do with Vesely busting.

I don't know if he was lazy I think he was scared. But you could be right he didn't have the best work ethic

How I feel about race was triggered a little bit last season when Tomas satoransky started out playing so well and the media kept saying of course they're not better without John Wall. The media killed Marcin Gortat.

I don't have time to explain this well but I remember when Dirk Nowitzki was considered not tough enough because he would not bang in the post. I never thought Pao Gasol got his props for how good of a player he was in his prime.

In general the white player and the European player gets hazed. Same thing happened with Jeremy Lin. Just my opinion that the only white guys that you see making it are the TJ McConnell types that are as black as they can be. Birdman Andersen had to cut his hair short and be more like a brother.

It's July 5th. Summer and nothing to do but argue. Plus I think that VOG is messing with my sinuses and I'm like three times as grumpy as normal which is kind of grumpy I'm out

That was an autocorrect error... was trying to make a point about WALL being the point guard and Satoransky ...not Wall and race.

Certain guys are never going to be Walls boy... and that's not even a thing about race cuz look at Otto Porter.

Irving has a ring because Lebron came back

You think if we traded Wall to LA right now, they couldnt win the West and get a ring?

I'm not sure if it is all attributed to racism; I think it is because people like counting stats and people still use field goal percentage rather than effective field goal percentage or true shooting percentage; or even worse, they ignore field goal percentage altogether. With Gortat, he's become an easy target rather than putting blame on John Wall's defense or a lot of his mid range shots which he often takes early in the shot clock. Granted Gortat is getting older and tends to check out at times but overall I don't think Wizards fans understand a lot of the good he brought even if he was declining. With Pau Gasol, people who really liked Kobe wanted to pump him up even more. But yeah, perhaps some of it is due to nationality. I bet there were some who rooted against Dirk because he wasn't American especially in 2006; although I think the script changed in 2011 when the Heat became the villains.

That being said, people have some opinions that are kind of crazy. On Facebook, I saw one of my friends post in messaging group-

This one person on the wizards page said “I think sato will outplay Rivers” ****** idiot lol

I don't even know how to begin debating opinions like this. I could see a case where Rivers does take a leap working with Oladipo's trainer, but Satoransky as a starter was better than Rivers and it wasn't even close.

Hornets fan on another site about Howard this past season:

He kept playing when the rest of our guys gave up. When it comes to locker room stuff... Batum was asking for more touches, our coach almost died, the GM tried to trade Kemba mid-season and got exposed, the team was split on monk...

Dwight legit never came up. If anything guys were pissed he was getting beat up on in the post but got tired of him playing into the beef with refs. It's not even like was a ball hog because our offense was trash as hell (and was before he got here). Guys wanted to stand around and throw up bullshyt, Dwight is ALWAYS going down to the block to let you know he's willing to bail you out - if you pass to him 20 feet out, that's your turnover imo

Don't know what's gonna happen in Washington. Wall and Dwight seem like oil and water.

The thing is, everyone following hoops in Charlotte knew he was gone after Hermangomez started playing. Dwight wasn't gonna get re-signed and that expiring was gonna get him traded no matter what. We only got Dwight through one of the Plumlee brothers so it wasn't anything to trip about.

He acts like he can't guard the PNR, but other than that he was cool.

No. Not with Golden State as currently constructed.

Return to Washington Wizards
