One thing is for sure and that's Songaila has been better as a starter than he was off the bench.

I think Andray's also been better off the bench.

This game when the lead got down to 1 (or maybe slightly before) EJ got DeShawn back out there with AD.

The starters were well rested and they stretched the lead back out. Jamison and DeShawn started nailing shots.

Gotta say this game both the bench and the starters, EJ's whole rotation worked. Darius had some defensive lapses but he fought for rebounds, made good decisions overall, and scored when he was open. I like his backdoor cuts and looks inside.

Good win. Very solid over a very good opponent that was motivated but still couldn't beat the Wizards.

I absolutely agree with what you said. The Hornets may have a good record but they are going no where int he playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost in the first round. :)

I was gonna go to bed fantasizing about BUFFY tonight, but you had to go and throw Gil & Caron coming back 100% by playoff time in the picture. You wrong for that man......just plain wrong!

Darius has been much better ever since the all star break. I don't really think it's because he is starting. It's just that he has finally broken out of his slump. We are seeing the Songaila of last season.

Finally, we have a capable veteran big man off the bench. This is the guy that EG paid $4M a year for.

Eerily similar, JWiz.

The Hornets SWEPT Phoenix and they had the best record in the west at the all star break. They just beat the Jazz.

Washington's the biggest team out there (WizKev posted this) when they play Jamison at 3 and Blatche at 4 with Haywood.

The Wizards are setting good screens now for Mason to curl off, and suddenly DeShawn's got people scared when he's at the three point line and he's able to break them down for layups.

Jamison's playing defense well now.

The team has seen mot of the players improve. AD's stepped up as well the last couple.

The team's getting a second wind and the best part is the young guys, including McGuire, are all stepping up.

I'm still digging the Sacto cheerleaders and I think the Hornets cheerleaders are Hott.

But as one of the few guys on board with more kids than me, I know you don't just fantasize, tsvqt. ;)

Go head and do what I do, man. I wake up Mrs CCJ. Let her fuss a bit, that never lasts too long.

 Fo'sho!! I was sippin' on some wine while watching the game so Buffy will take a backseat to real-life wifey tonight!!

Man, I'm sooooooooo proud of our boys tonight. There's just a whole different feeling when these guys play like they did tonight. If you factor in....I mean REALLY think about how we did it.....with bench players, and 3rd, 4th and 5th option guys.......we played against New Orleans #1 team. We didn't play with our #1 team on the floor, and we SPANKED them. They have to be feeling like crap on that plane ride home.

Props to Eddie Jordan. I'm not a big fan of his, but he outcoached BS big-time in this game. Good defense by Deshawn yet again.

Great game, but there's no excuse for this team not being 59-0. Fire EJ, trade Jamison, hang Songaila, and trade Gilbert for Chris Paul -- who is quite obviously unguardable.
