6 of the Last 37
That's how many wins Jordan has accumulated over the last 37 games he has coached. Think about that for a moment. Granted, 4 of those games included being swept by the Cavs in the 2007 playoffs, but he was still the HC for those games, so they count as part of his record.

6 wins. 31 losses. And counting. What's it going to take to acknowledge this mistake and at least try and rectify it? Is DiLeo still interested? At this point, can we bring Cheeks back? This is absurd.

6 - 31 is a winning percentage of 16%.

Looking back, I think it would be fair to say that EJ rode a hot trio when the East was at it's weakest and that he never was a very-good coach. Someone used to have the sig something like:
"we win games inspite of Eddie Jordan, not because of him"

While I cant claim definitive credit for that one, I'm reasonably sure that was me :)

Should the Sixers fire Eddie Jordan before the end of the 09/10 season?

I voted that they keep him :) Their loss is our gain. But it is wild reading all the same complaints. I suggested they just cut and paste from our old posts :)

Through their first 5 games Pecherov's PER (24.8) is as high as Blatche's (24.1).

OP usually had a good PER. He was just never played. Well, part of that was he was always injured to start the season but given who we had healthy last year, he should have gotten more minutes.

Buckets had some talent. That was easy to see. He just didnt have any coaching.

The Knicks have been one of the most persistent pursuers of Tracy McGrady over the past several weeks, ESPN.com has learned.

McGrady is likely to be dealt sometime within the next seven months, either before the deadline or in a sign-and-trade.

New York has been insistent on the inclusion of Jared Jeffries, which has hurt their chances of acquiring McGrady.

Dsong - I miss this efficient play and heart. We could use his toughness on this team

Ironic isn't it? Song was mis-used by us, but at-least the guy wasn't soft, same goes for Etan as over-paid as he was.

Efficiency? Yes. He his having a very nice year being spoonfed by Paul. He is shooting 56% from the field, 65% in December.

Toughness? Well, he is pretty physical, but he still has his problems rebounding. He is averaging just 6 boards per 36 minutes and he blocks virtually no shots.

Songaila is what he is. He's a nice role player with some holes in his game. I don't particularly miss him that much. Blatche is better.

A nice role player indeed. I efficient shoot who is tough noise and who can pass. Also, he is a low volume shooter. Something this team needs off the bench. He doesn't have to shoot 15 times in order to shoot efficiently. The guys is also a professional and give 100%.

I mean come on. We played him at center. Not sure how much they need his rebounding were he is but I always felt he would have rebounded better while here if he got to play more PF.

I hope he is appreciated where he is.

Re: Last nights loss.
But the 76ers lost, with Jordan making a refrain afterward that was common during his time in Washington. "We had a horrible defensive fourth quarter. Horrible, horrible," Jordan said after the Wizards scored 35 points in the final period. "Horrible fourth quarter defense."

 Thanks EJ

Former Wiz / Terp Juan Dixon Fails Drug Test

Post#218 » by southnc » Sat Feb 13, 2010 9:43 pm

I hope this is BS, but it is certainly disappointing to any Terp or Wiz fan. Sorry if it was previously posted.

Ex-Wiz guard Dixon banned in Europe

MALAGA, Spain -- Former NBA player Juan Dixon has tested positive for the steroid nandrolone, his Spanish team Unicaja announced.

The player gave the drug test in Greece in November, before he joined the Malaga-based team, Unicaja said on its Web site.

Dixon was informed of the positive result several days ago and the International Basketball Federation decided to suspend him on Friday. His suspension is indefinite until further notice.

Dixon, who won an NCAA championship with Maryland in 2002, played for Washington, Portland, Toronto and Detroit in the NBA.

Someone posted in Tracking former Wizards. Maybe it deserves its own post, though unsure what to say about it, other than too bad.
