Ariza was also very good.

Those two and Javale McGee are each helping their teams advance.

Kevin Seraphin is also a backup center for the Pacers who had a career high in TS% and a career high in rebounds per 36 minutes. Surprisingly not as bad he was during the last few seasons with the Wizards.

The Wizards should have just kept Nene, Even at $5-6 million he would have been great, and unlike Mahinmi he's useful offensively. But Ernie had to use that cap space on someone. :nonono: It's amazing Ernie attempts to get younger and healthier at the C position and ends up with a 30 yr old made of glass.

Seraphin still isn't much good. A black hole on offense and a day late/dollar short on defensive rotations. His efficiency was better and the TOs were down which makes him playable but he's still not helping you win games.

True, Seraphin isn't really an ideal backup center although he is doing much better after the Pacers lost Al Jefferson due to an injury. Probably someone at the end of the bench role would be ideal for him at the minimum.

How great would it be to have a guy like Joe Johnson who you know will show up in the playoffs.

Oh-well, we all know Ernie's FO MO: Rotate FA's, fire the coach if it goes South and use lottery picks to clean-up your FA mistakes.

I find myself looking forward to this Raptors/Bucks game more so than the Wizards/Hawks game. I'm fascinated by this Bucks team.

Andre Roberson is borderline unplayable if you want to actually contend. His defense is stellar but good god is he a dumpster fire offensively.

Yeah, they're looking quite poised and tough. Hopefully they can make a series of it with the Cavs too.

Man, coughing ups 25 point lead in a game that might end up in the mid 80's....yikes. A historic unraveling.

The foundation of the Raptors offense right now is 'bad pass- turnover.'

The real MVP

Hey you still think the Wizards gonna lose the series with ATL? :)

Kawhi had good stats at San Diego State. (Major props, BTW , to Leonard's retiring SDS head coach, Steve Fisher!)

However, I am mystified at how GREAT Leonard's game is now in the NBA. His three point shooting, go to pro moves, and his absolutely suffocating defense are each par excellence. Better than what I thought he would be. Just from his college stats, particularly his rebounds, I knew he was worth a lottery pick...

But no way dude looked like the next LeBron!

He took it to another level after his Pop's unfortunate murder. (At a car wash IIRC).

Lastly, IIRC, there was similarity between Kawhi's college stats and Andre Roberson's. Wish Kevin Broom was lurking...So I could ask WizardsKev what am I missing? Roberson's not a great pro. Leonard is top two IMHO.

Yep, if you look at Roberson's last two years at Colorado and Leonard's two seasons at San Diego State, you'll see quite similar statistics. I recalled correctly.

Looking now, in 2017, I do note that Roberson was a HORRIBLE FTshooter. Roberson's senior stats, particularly FTattempts and FG%, really dropped from his junior year to senior year. I'm guessing he had a new coach and perhaps an injury. Meanwhile, OTOH, Kawhi's second and final season was considerably better than his freshman year. He was improving when he left college but Roberson not so, per the stats.
