I mean, what makes us so special? Why would we be any different than the copious amounts of teams that passed up on him (rightly or wrongly)?

Yeah, it sounds like Blair's knees may indeed be an issue and my guess is that the Zards pass on him as well. Jeff Adrien anyone?

Obviously it's the concern about Blair's knees. I'd trade up to get him. Those knees fit right in with our great medical staff. :(

Not if you need rebounding and inside toughness.

Here's the rest of the teams before us...

26. Chicago - They already have Thomas and Noah but not much depth. They could definitely use Blair.
27. Memphis - Warrick, Arthur, Milicic, etc....they aren't taking Blair.
28. Minnesota - They have SO MANY power forwards, so they definitely don't need him.
29. New York - They just drafted Hill. Doubt they'll go for Blair.
30. Cleveland - Probably won't go for Hill. Varejao takes most of the backup PF minutes this upcoming season, should they retain him. They also have the incredible JJ Hickson.
31. Sacramento - With Thompson, Diogu, Nocioni and company, I don't think they'll go for Blair.

We might have a shot.

Jeff Adrien is a 3/4 tweener. Not a bad player and he has long arms, but I'd like a real power forward or center type.

again, what if we had waited and Rubio went before the 5th? Then we couldve said "ok Minny, we'll take that trade now" and they say "NO thanks, we wanted Rubio" or "we're trading with a different team now". Thats why you dont wait, you cant

Take a look at my post a few above yours, CCJ. We have a shot (not a big one, but enough to give us some hope, lol).

The only scenario that made sense trading the 5 early was if Minnesota had to get the pick to move up to 2. However they obviously did not.

Minny just might pick a PG or a PF to make us all say WTF.

If Blair and Summers are BOTH available at 32, I think we should go local. Better player...more upside

I guess Blair would not be a bad choice I mean we need a big body but there are going to be some good wing players potentially...Summers, C-bud (new nickname LOL), Ellington, board fav Green, but I think it will be traded and EG is trying to get rid of D steve.

The one trade I brought up that i would not mind would be

Stevenson, Pick, James for Camby
GO SKINS
GO WIZ
GO CAPS

GO DC BABY

maybe the Nats, in like 10 years
