I love your rational well-thought out evaluation...I just have a hard time believing this.

I think Jazz is going to draft Kanter and keep him, they kinda need better rebounder, Millsap & Favors is not strong combo in that area.

Interesting to see what are actual picks that EG does pick, and what kind of out cry it makes this year. :D

Or we do really like Vesely and we're going to pick him. I fear the worse...

i will ay this jv has an exceptionally high offensive and defensive bbiq. You rarely see his BBIQ, size and quickness.
I have Vesely rated just slightly below Kanter in terms of fit with John Wall.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Maybe that's a sign the Cavs all but plan to trade down with us if Kanter is there and want to have their bases covered at pick #6?

(had JV mixed up with the other JV.... I think?)

On the "positive" side, you won't have to imagine how bad Javale would be if he played small forward.

Id rather drink a bucket of battery acid instead of watching Mcgee plying himself as a run and gun 3.

I can really just see the word 'length' being thrown around alot when we draft Vesely and the words 'shoot first' never being thought of. :( ....sorry wrong thread.

What about Lewis for Okur+Milsapp and and swap of 6 and 12?

I don't like that proposal.

I don't like it either...I LOVE IT!!! I've been against trading for Milsap before since Booker could turn out to be a cheaper option, but when we can get him in exchange for Lewis and help our cap by getting Okur's expiring - I think you have to make the deal and sort your roster out later.

We take Singleton at 12, Donatas at 18, and shop Blatche for whatever we can get.

No, I'm also not completely in the tank for Kanter. At this point I'd be fine with Vesely or a trade.

how many times on Wiretap have you seen something like "Spurs offering Tony Parker"

then 2 days later,

"GM Denies Parker ever mentioned in trades"

Now the Thunder are chasing Valanciunus. For a guy that wont take the court for 2 years, he's seduced alot of teams

Personally I'd like him alot more if he did that face and hand gesture everytime after a dunk instead of signing off as the love boat captain.

If true, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm sure Indy balks though.

Would anyone trade down with Houston?

Patterson, #14 and their 2012 pick (top 5 protection) for #7 and Booker?

Just remember.

The collective wisdom of the board hated the McGee pick. He turned out to be one of the steals of the draft.

The collective wisdom of the board hated the Booker pick. He may well be one of the steals of his draft. He has the 4th highest PER of his draft class and he defends.

The collective wisdom of the board hates the Vesely idea. Hmmm.

I know Ted reads all the blogs,RealGM,etc and he is a fool if he lets Ernie draft Vesley.

This organization sucks

No, he's a fool if he over-rides his Basketball people. Ted would be "pulling a Snyder" if he did as you suggest. That he won't means this organization is clearly on the right track.
