Porter serves as a player with length who could really shore up their wing depth. He also has a much higher upside than either Leonard or McCullom.

Portland might consider it, but would EG? This isn't the type of move i can see EG making.

My "Real Trade Value" thing suggests Leonard's value is slightly higher than Porter's. The difference between them is negligible. Throw in McCollum, and the Wizards would probably need to include Temple or Seraphin to even things out.

I don't know if they trade a top 3 or 4 pick for beal. I mean one or two team would have to jump them for them to miss out on Towns and Okafor, There are a lot of good bigs in this draft!

Flips never been a guy who likes to rebuild. He's a veterans coach. If there's an overwhelming talent on the board he'll take him, but if he can get a player who's both young and has some seasoning, that'll always be his preference.

You do make a good point.But I would do what it takes to keep the mid round 2015 pick too! I wonder if you can get away with a protected 2016 first or the rights to Thomas and a second. Because if you can get, Russll and Frank/Wood, man that would be one hell of a draft.

And you'd be right to not trade Russell for Beal - not just for talent reasons but for Russell having 3 more years on a rookie contract. Howevuh, Flip is one of the few remaining NBA dinosaurs in power. Don't be surprised if he trades that pick for a veteran. I agree with Dark Faze's comments.

You may be right, but so far Flip has done well in the draft and like I said everything we have heard from our beat guys, who have been really reliable, is that he loves Russell. I think if he were to want Beal there would be more to the trade.

To be fair though, I wouldn't even accept Beal + 1st with Russell on the board. I'd probably also want a 2016 pick as well.
