I think there is a name change coming in the next couple years. This makes logo me think they are going with Monuments or something along those lines.

I don't like how Washington Monuments sounds. Especially b/c Monuments stand still. I get a mental picture of teams blowing by our defenders, standing there like Monuments.

Great to see Ruland & Mahorn were there, along with my original favorite player, Kevin Greeeeeeeeeeeevey. (Love his restaurant, too - is it still around?)

And what's up with Wes? Is he on the outs with Ted? Didn't want to share the floor with E? Health issues?

From various reports, Wes has some issues with management....plus, I just don't think he's a very social person in general.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

What issues does he have? I mean we've employed his son for what seems like close to a decade now. I don't even know what Wes Unseld Jr. does for us as a coach.

This is great news as far as free agents go. I heard nobody wanted to sign with the Wiz because of the awful jerseys.....now we will have them lining up!

As I thought about it overnight, I'm liking the road red unis more than the home whites.

A big reason is that I like "Washington" across the front, rather than "Wizards".

Either way, looks like they're emphasizing the new "DC" logo. I think I have to swing by and pick up a hat and whirt this weekend.

If McGee is going to do that stupid salute, he oughta at least learn to salute properly.

had a nice time chatting with some of the alumni last night.

BobbyD was so humble. I asked him why he thought he
was credited with defending Dr J as well as anyone and
he just guffawed and said it was a coincidence that
he just happened to have bad shooting nights when
they faced each other.

Phil Chenier was very gracious.

Rick Mahorn was a hoot - I asked him if Laimbier would
make a good coach for us - answer Yes. I also asked him
about coaching Seraphin and either he was pulling my leg
or really doesn't/hadn't watched us at all. He didn't know
who I was talking about.

Kevin Grevey thought I looked familiar and I told him about
an O's game in 1989 where he sat a row in front of a group
of me and my friends and we had chatted him up. He claimed
to actually remember that but he was probably just being nice.

Dudley Bradley I didn't recognize but once I got clued in I
remembered his famous 3 pointer to cap a 17-0 run to
win a playoff game in Philly.

Roundfield was nice but I was surprised to see him. I only
remember him as having played one year. But he said it was
2 although he said he was in Kevin Loughery's doghouse one
entire year - proof that KL wasn't an especially good coach.

John Wall was much more personable last night than at 6 Flags
back in Oct. Also got to meet Jordan Crawford.

Well, Roundfield was practically a mummy during those two years in DC. His knee pads and body armor made him look like a balding cross between Barry Bonds and Tony Stark.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Adidas seems to be selling them for most teams. I doubt (hopefully) the Wiz ever actually wear these.
