BTW, as we are quibbling about which fringe player will make it or get invited to training camp, I'm guessing Rip Hamilton will not make the cut for the next Wiz color analyst. One of my favorite draft picks and worst trades of all time for Jerry Stackhouse (better voice), I guess he wasn't an English major at UConn.

Doesn't need to guard 2s, we have a combo guard in Sato that can guard 2s and 3s. Keenes job with any NBA team will just be to get buckets.

And in today's NBA game, ball handling ability makes you more of a point guard than passing ability. Kyrie, IT, Steph, etc. thought Keene has actually made some really nice plays for teammates also honestly.

For example, Pangos is a pass first guy that puts zero pressure on the defense, can't really create openings for teammates anyways. Keene can really turn the corner on anyone that I've seen guarding him so far. I'm really impressed.

Keene/Sato/Mac are exciting. Just hope Frazier doesn't play over any of them.

It is like Whittman's feeling of game impression making subs :)

You watching the game tricky? It almost looks like they are intentionally trying to lose haha

Sorry to not answering earlier. I watched it and yes it's like the coach trying to lose sending worse lineup in crunch time unlike the Bulls. Thank God it was only summer league.
First time I saw this Keene guy and when he was hot (we were 3pts down) he was sub out for the rest of the game...

I read that You guys like Ochefu. I watch only last game and I wasn't impressed by him at all.
Sure he is for defensive purpose but he can't be that big hole to not to score under the hoop at all! And he is fouling way a lot. Just to reminder it was against the d-leaguers. Fear to playing him against real players...

Exactly, that crunch time lineup looked like a high school team. Yikes

Keene might be able to pull it off, he isn't as quick as I thought he'd be, that's pretty huge.

First and possibly last SL tournament game today. At this point the rotation should be something like: Keene, Mac, House(i guess), McCullough, Ochefu with Robinson and Young getting the majority of the bench minutes. The only players who have shown any NBA potential are Mac and Keene and maybe Robinson, McCullough is probably the biggest waste of talent I have ever seen, zero BBALL IQ, scared of contact, no skill whatsoever. Cunningham is the most selfish player I have ever seen, never passed the ball in his life. House is not a nba player at all either, just puts his head down and plows into people.

Robinson has great defensive instincts and length//shot blocking potential, he's pretty active compared to the other bigs on the roster, nice faceup 4 potential, just insanely skinny.

still think Young could be a good player if they played him at his position, why he's playing the 3 is beyond stupid.

Remember, you also have Robinson and McCullough playing the 4. He's a tweener. I don't mind playing him at the 4 in SL, but if he can't make 3s or even mid-range jumeprs, who cares if he's playing the 3 or the 4? He's another fringe player at best.

the roster was put together by and idiot. it's like an entire team of 3 4 tweeners. Young has been getting absolutely blown by on the perimeter by everyone he was guarding in those first few games.

you better be watching the game today 80s, I had no-one in the thread to talk about last game with lol

I can't watch the game live. I'm taping it so I'll probably get a chance to see it around 8pmET. And to be honest, I don't think I'm missing much by not catching these games live. With no first or second-round picks to check out, it's awful to see "fringe" guys just chuck up bad shots because they are trying to get a camp invite. House was so much better last season and he's pressing every time he has the ball. Cunningham is thinking shot from halfcourt. The Wiz don't care about winning games and will get blasted today because the only guy who had rest last night was Pangos. Young, McCullough, and Robinson will likely have no legs in this game after play 3 games in 3 nights.

As far as I'm concerned, this is Mcculloughs last chance in the nba tonight(assuming they lose) he's a 3rd year player that doesn't stand out much at all. If he has another meh game, I wouldn't mind if they cut him to save money and just signed Robinson, he atleast shows some shot blocking potential.I am hoping for a huge game from McCullough against Bam Adebayo though, because I do think he has real potential as a face up 4 and a switch everything defender, but he's gotta show it tonight. plain and simple.

M.Young is looking good rn. Hit the jumpshot, and 2+1 inside the hoop.

I have no idea why any team would pick up Cunningham to play for them. Most selfish player I have ever seen lol. Literally decides he's shooting when he crosses half court and just puts his head down and charges the basket

Check my guy out tricky! We need to sign this guy Marcus Keene! He can play.

He seriously looks like an Isaiah Thomas clone, and he can make plays for his teammates too
