Lebron's PR failures are getting close to epic levels. As in without committing a crime, he will no doubt become one of the most hated athletes in sports history at this rate. I love how it is all imploding at this point, I really hope we can beat their asses.

The Queen strikes again, this-time bumping his coach.

As much as I would love to take the position that they suck and will continue to, their record to start the season, like ours, my well not reflex their end record. But for now, 9-8 is very pleasing to look at. lol

So true. I have no idea who is running his PR but he would have done better by just taking some basic no nonsense advice.

Stop everything that is hype. Get out of the lime light and just focus on basketball.

It is the same advice Gil needed to follow. Gil seems to be doing a much better job them LaDouche with his PR. Mainly because Gil is keeping a low profile and just focusing on his game and his team.

In about a mouth, I expect Gil to be averaging 20 + pts, leading the team, and shooting about .425.

The PR mistake I think the Wizards made was playing their hand to much regarding saying this was Walls team. I understand them playing down Gil until they saw more of what he would bring and how the fans reacted to him, but that doesn't mean you have to crown the team Walls. That could have happened over time if he needed to happen. He is a rookie after all. This team when healthy has Gil, J Howard and Dray who are all vets to go along with Wall. I think it would have been better to position them as a team with Wall as a key part of the future. As it is, they are going to have to dial back the, This is Walls team, talk. Specially if Gil keeps up what he has been doing.

They should just be a team. Something I have advocated back to the days of all the big three talk.

The best thing Miami could do right now is bench Lebron for several games because of the bumping incident. Wade and Bosh might actually win more games without him just because the chemistry would be better.

Now THAT would be a dual lesson in humility for Lebron: Don't disrespect your coach because he is in charge. And you're not more important than the team because the team actually wins just as much without you.

I actually haven't watched but 2.5 Heat games this year, and just a few last year. Spoelstra made a few poor decisions, but I've seen Jackson, Brown, Riley, etc. do that too. Other than looking boyish and otherwise perhaps not being a very commending presence to lead three such large personalities, he doesn't seem to be to blame for all this. Many on the Heat board think he is, but it's easier to fire the coach than to get out of a three-max contract team structure. Are LeBJ and the Heat fans just scapegoating (as MJ clearly implies in his new Nike commercial)?

ESPN is reporting that the players are not happy with Spoelstra bc he doesn't letthem joke around and "be themselves". I'm sure Pat Riley will let them do that?

Just don't post that on the Heat board. You'd have to come back with a different screen name after your banning.

Heat fans should bring in TheOUTLAW to mod their board. He knows how to handle the throngs of Lebron haters, LOL.

On the PR front I think Nike should make an addition to Lebron's "what should I do?" commercial, as in
"what should i do? should i fight my coach?".

I'm just going to enjoy this while it lasts. This is sweet music.

The LaDouche curse is in full swing.

I just noticed yungal is "waived"

Is that another Heat board thing? Is it really getting out of hand? Any mods know stats of how many are on the inactive list as a result of Heat board bans, and how that compares with total bans?

As much as I like making fun of Le Le and the Cavs of old and the Heat now (especially the insipid U Madders), I usually keep it on this board. I know if I was a Heat fan, I wouldn't be too happy right now, and since many on the Heat board aren't d**ks but long time fans who legitimately thought they had a dynasty (and they might have one yet) I don't really feel like rubbing their noses in it on their own board. Still, I was surprised by the reaction to Ji's post, which didn't seem all that provocative.

Didn't take too long for the big happy family in Miami to start feuding. From Wade calling out his coach for not doing a good job, to James rejecting any responsibility and dismissing the idea that he may have to change his game for the team to be successful, this has disaster written all over it.

Can't say that the rough start is a surprise. Winning games in the NBA without a legit front court and consistent perimeter attack isn't as easy as the Heat hype machine wanted everybody to believe.

mad respect to the beat reporters present for when lebron said "I can't change my game dramatically, and I don't think he can, either, It doesn't make any sense to do that. I'd be a role player at that point, if I changed my game dramatically."

i would have definitely let a snide comment slip out. i can't see how the heat, or heat fans would even begin to blame spoelstra. lebron is clearly the team cancer here. he's not willing to let the guards play like guards and he's refusing to play in the post despite them having precious few big men and him being 6'8 260. If people thought Wilt was a selfish just-for-stats dbag, i wonder how history is going to remember Lebron.

Proof?

Besides the IP Match, he posts on all the Boards yung did (Wash, NY, GB), and goes around trolling in any NY Thread on either 3 Boards. They also have the same posting style as well, and TheGreatWall joined around the same time right after yungal07 got Banned (July, 2010).

It's not at all surprising to me that the Heat mods have turned into a bunch of nancyboy wusses, they've been contaminated with douche. Everything Lebron touches becomes instantly pussified.

ps - You mods are privy to way too much info.
