Nene slipped on the wet floor during the first half. I almost fainted.

Derrick Rose showed before halftime that he's all the way healthy.

For now.

Harden is one selfish man there, not a single pass made by him. Hate his game atm. This USA team is beatable imo, Brazil had two huge runs where they outplayed them, just not enough roster flexibility as coach K team.

If Harden makes this team, then this whole selection process is bullsh*t.

Box score is not available for the game from ESPN or the public part of NBA.com.
The only place I know that does keep a box score is the NBA’s media site

CCJ-

Just looked at DVR of the game...some thoughts:

- Nene looked really good, got a decent amount of minutes. Did the usual, plus a few rebounds, assists and even steals. Going small with Nene at the 5 and PP at the 4 might be interesting against certain matchups.
- Davis is and will be a BEAST
- Almost all pine time for Lillard, zero for Demar, Drummond, Cousins
- Beard even gets his FTs in FIBA basketball…sigh

As for DRose - he started really slow, didnt do much at all in the first half, but since he had that buzzer beater and the one flashy (travel) layup he is “back” and all that..yeah, not quite buying into the hype yet

Rose had 7 points in 24 minutes. Whoah. I could root for him more easily if there weren't such a crazy hype machine. He had 2 good layups and otherwise didn't stand out. He is fun to watch and is a quick twitch athlete, but I wouldn't fall over myself so quickly to announce Rose is back. Especially after his poor regular season last year before he got hurt. Rose is going to be like Wade or Kobe. If he steps on the court he will be voted on all star, regardless of whether he deserves it.

Coach K should NOT be the coach of Team USA as long as he coaches Duke. Its a blatant conflict of interest. All of the national Soccer teams have full time coaches to ensure this.

Even if there is a full-time national coac,- there will be controversy of who is selected on the team like Landon Donovan being left off of US World Cup team.

He must be a magician - as well as a basketball player. Not one pass but he still got 5 assists. It's a conspiracy! Actually, I was concerned that the "point guards" were too interested in getting their own points. Harden is clearly one of the top 5 players on the team, imo - much less worthy of making the team. The most valuable player in the game was easily - by miles - Anthony Davis. He's the difference maker who makes up for the sins of the others. Lack of size up front is a big potential problem on this team. The starting forwards were Faried and Harden. That's a really bad defensive tandem. Faried looked really small when guarding Nene and Splitter. Brazil was going at him basically every time when he was in the game. And Chandler Parsons and Rudy Gay are the backup forwards - not a lot of beef there. I can understand why Plumlee has a good shot at making the team - he will hustle and concentrate on defense. Everyone else on the team is MORE than willing to shoot.

I thought maybe the spirited Nene versus Faried play goes back to their Denver days. Faried essentially made Nene tradeable.

Ruzious, it was interesting to see the much bigger Nene going right at Faried. Team USA is very undersized up front.

Totally agree that Davis is a beast.

D Rose didn't do much from outside but he destroyed Brazil in transition and he got to the rim and finished. I am buying, mohammed. Time will tell.

I see Harden still stuffing those FT numbers despite being a pathetic SG. Awesome FTG though.
