Only positive i guess is that I admire the grizz as my 2nd fav team. I love the effort they play with. Their role players really give superb effort. Gortat, Webster, Wall, Nene, Seraphin, Booker, Beal **** everyone on our team could learn from them.

Beal sets a pick to clear Nene at the key then he double back and set a pick on Calathes and floats to the left top 3.

Tough pass to Wall from Nene but he gets it.

He has Webster right to his right ready to play a two man game.

Wall ignores it and goes left to Nene who I don't think we want taking the 3.

Nene sets the pick. Wall dribble past it to get space. And Beal is wide open. Wall keeps dribble to the left, crosses Calathes over back to the right then back to the left to get space. Beal is still standing there wide open.

Wall shoots a long fade away 3

That was the most insanely stupid terrible game I think I have ever saw Wall play, and Randy actually put him back in after they were up 2. The very next play the offense fell apart and they ended up down 6 on an 0-8 run.

Raisins Randy. He doesn't have the balls to win a game because he is afraid to play the players who are getting it done. Pops is isn't

It would be much better to stink and have a draft pick than the current trajectory toward mediocrity.

With the right coach, talent wins out in the NBA. Undisciplined or not, young guys mature. I would take Cousins for sure. That's got nothing to do with both guys having flaws. On the court and maturity-wise.

Wall is definitely NOT a max-worthy player right now.

Wall is a max worthy talent.

However, truth be told...he needs a coach like Pop or Vogel to truly get it out of him though.

All Beal did was go 5-7 from three and have 37 points.

Wall has taken and missed plenty last second shots.

I'd take George Karl or Hollins tbh. Anyone but randy. Dude is gutless. Wall never should have been allowed back in. Doesn't help that Randy also promotes one of the more "special" NBA offenses out there.

It's clear this coach doesn't have the power to effectively coach Wall up.

I'm irritated with Wall, but he just had an honest post game interview. No excuses. Give him props for that.

This speaks to Wall's talent though. The past 2 years he's been a 20/8 kind of player.

However, he's not with a great HC.

Do you remember the hype on Wall coming out of college? He was supposed to be the best PG to the NBA since Jason Kidd.

He's failed to deliver on that...but he doesnt have the kind of coach he can respect, challenge him and come up with ways to get the best out of him.

He's just out there playing basketball.

Its a shame the Wizards could blow the very important years of development.

Give a real good HC, Wall, Beal and they hypothetically acquired Cousins. Wiz would be Indiana esque imo.

I'm 99% sure his lack of focus is related to All-Star weekend. He's a young player going for his first time, I imagine it's pretty hard to maintain focus. Especially with him doing the dunk contest and all that, he's never had a spotlight on him like that.

If this continues after the AS break I'll be worried, but I don't think it will. Wall is generally a high-character guy, he's earned some goodwill in my book after the BS he put up with his first 2 years here.

Wittman has done all he can with this team. He took them up a couple notches the past year, but he has reached the limits of his coaching ability. Nice job getting them to play decently together Randy, but it's time to go!

Get a coach with some Fing balls bigger then Raisins. That would go a long way.

It was clear MEM was to big and long for Booker. The pick and pop to Gasol is almost unstoppable.

Wizards hung in there to start the game because Beal was on fire. Wall sucked. Did Randy sit him early. NO
Did Randy turn to his long players like Ves, Temple and Otto to match them. NO

Ves finally came into the game the 3rd and instantly helped turn the energy around.

Temple played really good defense. The come back happened with Wall on the bench with players like Temple, Ves and Kevin pitching in.

Did Randy sit Wall and them keep it going. NO. He puts Wall back in and instantly the offense ground to a stop the next possession.

Wall is rarely this bad. Specially on back to back games. Wall will rebound. But when he is playing like total rss, DON'T PLAY HIM. Send a Fing message during the game. Not AFTER. Win the game.

To see what Wall then did on that last play just make you want to punch something.

Look at this this way. Talent ? They just almost beat MEM in MEM not only without Wall doing good things but an entire game of F up bad things. And Randy was the game time adjustments coach.

They have the talent to win. They beat the best of the West and could have had this as well.

FIRE RANDY AT THE BREAK. I CAN'T TAKE HIM ANYMORE

Exactly. Wall should have never returned from the bench once he went out and they started playing better.

What was the reason to put him back in. If its not broken, don't change it.

calm down about the Wall stuff. He's not Trevor Ariza or someone. No matter how bad a Franchise player is, the coach still ususally always goes with him. Not saying it was right but I wont rip Witt "for that".

What sucks is that Wall-Beal have the ability to be the best or one of the best backcourts in the league but it literally seems like its been 2 months since theyve both played well on the same night. Its ususally just one or the other. Infact, they are both more likely to stink it up then to both play great on the same night. Have to get them back on point. The good thing is that even with that, you can still tell they are made for eachother. You never get the feel that they dont mix. They are a perfect fit but their youth combined with the crap system is making it a slower process then I had hoped for

I believe temple was getting beaten by Nick at that point, so we were down already...but at least Temple played like he gave a damn.

Nights where wall plays with LBJ's intensity are awesome.

Tonight he exuded D-Wade level mid-season intensity....which is turrible.

Coaching.

George Karl would turn Wall/Beal into THE best backcourt in the league

Yeep. A man needs to know his limits.

I think Randy is a good defensive coach. I have for a long time now.
But he isn't a good game times coach. That's the problem.

To bad we are talking about him when Mr Beal had an awesome game. So did Nene. He played great D on Randolph. And Kevin S pulled the chair on his twice. Real nice vet stuff there by Kevin.

And made props to Nick Calathes. A rookie. He played like a seasoned vet. Kept his dribble alive. Dribbled using his body really well to protect the ball. And always feed Gasol so he could catch it right at his face where he just tossed it in, never bring the ball down. That shot is Dirk unstoppable.
