I don't know anything about the WNBA, but it's still humorous to me seeing the comments on X about how the team doesn't have any guards or whatever. Do they not understand their timetable is longer than this season?

Don’t understand the Dugalic pick. But Betts and McMahon are both legit. Plus nabbing Harmon in the 3rd could be a steal. She’s a great passer, but small and just an ok shooter.

I really wanted Jacquez. I thought she would fall to us. A non stop hustler and … super cute

They are really counting on Amoore and Citron it seems, unless they’re signing a vet guard

AFTER ALL SHE DID, MICHAEL WINGER FIRED JAMILA WIDEMAN!!!!

No matter how well the Mystics do moving forward, Winger gets an asterisk for this move. It's like idiot Jeff Pagliocca firing Teresa Weatherspoon.

How disloyal!

She has a keen basketball mind. I won't be shocked if she ends up as an NBA GM, eventually.

If Onyenwere is not available and McMahon is also out, who starts at SF In tomorrow’s game for the Mystics ?

Dugalic ? Prosper ? Littlepage-Buggs ?

Prosper gets the start. Listed as a 6-3 Guard. She came off the bench in preseason with a lot of energy. I hope she plays well before her fellow Canadians.

I don’t think Amoore played in the 4th quarter. She turned it over way too much. She is going to need to get better running the offense.

She made some great plays too though. It’s her first professional game, I’m looking forward to watching her this year

I missed the game. How is it that Betts only played 12 mins or so and didn’t score a point? Was she hurt? Did she look out of place out there? I also noticed that Sykes was like 3-18

Betts was not hurt, I think Shakira just played too well to sit for long.

I don’t think Betts looked out of place either but she and Dugalic both looked to me like they were nervous. More than a couple of shots they usually make in the paint missed short. First game nerves, probably same for Amoore like Gesa said above.

I do hope McMahon is able to play soon. I thought she looked good in the first preseason game.

Lol there’s a few extroverts on the Mystics. Love Cotie McMahons reaction to Georgia Amoore waving her jersey around while running past the camera.

Anyone else excited about Cotie McMahon’s return from the elbow injury this quickly. I think her injury was the same one that shut down Kyshawn at the end of last season.
