Just getting around to watching this and WOW! Even Spoelstra looked like he thought it was on purpose, and then realized he couldn't say anything. Gotta feel sorry for both him and Dwayne Wade. But when you ferry the scorpion over the lake, don't get surprised when you get stung. It's in LeBron's nature.

From Wade calling out his coach for not doing a good job, to James rejecting any responsibility and dismissing the idea that he may have to change his game for the team to be successful, this has disaster written all over it.

Can't say that the rough start is a surprise. Winning games in the NBA without a legit front court and consistent perimeter attack isn't as easy as the Heat hype machine wanted everybody to believe.

It is always hardest to get a stud post player. Specially on the cheap. That is why EG has been shooting long darts for years looking for some keepers. You either get them cheap and young at lower picks and have to wait or you get them expensive once they are developed. With most their money tied up SG, SF and PF, they are going to have to hope for a middle of the road vet on the cheap or someone who wants redemption on a one year so they can win and get a pay day. Either way, they are likely going to have to rotate bigs in year after year. It worked for Chicago so it could happen again. But with these guys, they have one to many lead dogs. MJ and Pippen was a great core. But Pippen know who the lead dog was. Wade and LaDouche, just hard to see it working. Wade is no ones Pippen.

They should trade LeBron or Wade for a ton of assets then they will be set.

Can't wait till Thursday when he goes back the Cleveland and gets booed out of the building. LMAO.

Anyone seen the latest interview clips on ESPN? LeBron claiming if he has something to say to his coach, he won't do it through the media - apparently, that wouldn't be in his nature. There was something else - I can't remember the exact wording, but my interpretation of it was more or less that he's on board with Spo - as long as Spo is the guy they've got.

I have a headache now from the spontaneous eruption of eye rolling.

Just saw this youtube channel, it's the guy who does the basketball breakdown videos, except this channel is specifically for the Heat. Interesting stuff.

I was actually expecting Nate33 type stats: "Heat boards mod bans total 9 to date in 2010, or 6% of the total, but 7 of those bans date from the beginning of the season, or 27% of the total bans since the seaon began." Than many have some pace-adjusted figure.

I think keeping Wade and trading LeBron or Bosh would be the best move. I think the Clippers could give them some serious talent in return.

It would have been great if the Wizards had beaten the Heat and Cleveland wins against Boston. That would have meant Cleveland could end up with a better record than the Heat.

Wojo with another "Wait, what? LeBron's really a d-bag? Oh yeah, I knew it all along" article:

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=a ... stra112910

Wade was one of the Team USA players who’d watch incredulously as James would throw a bowl of fries back at a renowned chef and bark, “They’re cold!” Or throw his sweaty practice jersey across the court and command a team administrator to go pick it up. Everyone wants James to grow out of it, but he’s never showed much of an inclination for self-examination and improvement. And he’s never surrounded himself with people who’d push him to do so.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

.

Probably the ultimate Lebron fan-boy quote in all of RealGM.

Yes, he went there.

Truth be told, I spent 3 hours on Wikileaks and was devastated that there was nothing on Realgm. Clearly Asscabbage or whatever his name is doesn't know the evils you people commit here. :(

Cleveland fans are the most ungrateful fans I have ever seen..Yea, Maybe LeBron should have gone about it differently, but he did everything for that City and that Franchise. No one cared about Cleveland let alone the Cavaliers until he started playing. He put that city on the map. He gave his heart and soul to that team for 7 years, carried them on his back to the finals, and thats how you repay him. By burning his Jersey, and calling him a quitter.

He made a decision and they need to live with that. At the rate he was going, he was gonna end up another great player with great stats and nothing to show for it. People mention loyalty. How other great players stayed with the same team year after year, despite the results. None of those players, Miller, Ewing, etc, had the same opportunity LeBron had to join up with two other superstars in search of league dominance. Had they, best believe they would have probably made the same decision. Kobe went through the same thing only a few years ago. He was threatening to leave, calling out teammates, calling out coaches. He pouted and pouted until he got his way. He got a legit second superstar, and it wasnt until then he started winning again.

Maybe, if the organization had provided him with a better coach, system and supporting cast, he would still be there, but he was tired of busting his ass and ending up with nothing year after year. Its highlighted now, how much the team has fallen off without the guy on the roster.

Yes, he may have well mailed it in during the semi`s last year, but before that you would never question the guys effort. I can`t name any player that would have been able to take his spot and lead that team to consecutive 60 wins seasons, and a trip to the finals. But its amazing how quickly people will turn on someone. Why are the Cleveland fans so upset? If he is a quitter why would you want him on your team, why are you so hurt he left? It because they know, they are headed into the abyss, and there is no one coming to save them. They are not upset because he left, they are upset because they know he was the only thing they had.

When you say "Lebron did everything for that Franchise", what exactly do you mean by "everything"? Lebron played basketball because he was under contract to do so. Nothing else.

Do you know who really sacrificed? The owner, Dan Gilbert. Gilbert did whatever Lebron wanted. Need a PG? He overpaid to get Mo Williams? Need a "stretch four", he overpaid to get Jamison. The team payroll was $100M for goodness sake! For comparison, San Antonio's payroll usually hovers around $60M. The team did everything it could for Lebron and then Lebron ditched them. And I don't even have much of a problem with that. I can't stand the classless way he ditched them. And I can't stand the fact that he's a narcissistic douche.

Its well documented how much the economy of downtown Cleveland is suffering since LeBron left. Its not as if people are still coming to support the LeBron less Cavaliers.

I stated that LeBron should have gone about leaving in a different way. But, I believe the letter from Dan Gilbert after "The Decision" showed what kind of people LeBron was dealing with. Maybe he went about it like that for a reason.

The players brought in were in no comparison to the talent brought in by the other elite teams in the league. In the end, LeBron never needed talent around him, he needed a coach.

Eric, if you can't see that the Cleveland fans have a good reason to feel hurt and betrayed, then I suggest taking a break from posting on this message board to do some serious soul searching.

Normally I would argue with facts, logic, metaphors, and stories meant to help you put yourself in a Clevelander's shoes... but we have a few hundred pages of posts just on this message board detailing exactly why Lebron is a tool, the many questionable things he's done, and how he carelessly, recklessly, and needlessly ripped the heart out of his home team. I shouldn't have to bring those up again, and no one should have to waste their time pointing out the deep flaws in your position, so I'll just stick to playfull ad-hominen arguments that still make more sense than calling Cleveland ungrateful.

I dunno. I hate LeBron with the white hot anger of a thousand suns, but Cleveland fans deserved getting their hearts get ripped out again. They created that monster. Bunch of enablers. They reap what they sow.
