I have to agree with this - it seems like Wall can get his 18 foot jumper whenever he wants - and the other team wants him to take the shot. Maybe their is a correlation?

Shooting too much is bad. Shooting poorly is bad. Doing both at the same time....

He isn't finishing well at the rim either compared to previous years.

Does anyone else think he may just be too horny? I remember when I went through this multi month dry spell (dont ask) and everytime I shot, I just had too much testosterone in my body and I would hit back iron. Is John a virgin?

my suggestion to john is to keep shooting. work hard to improve shot selection, study the game, shoot 1000 shots a day in practice, .. and during the game if they give you the shot, step into it and take it

John has to relax when shooting these shots. He has to be practicing them. I know people practice free throws and make them, but during the game, using the mechanics they practiced....they hit the back iron, or front of the rim. You want a relaxed focus. Not an intense focus. John seems to be too focused and....he hits the back rim, or the front of the rim.

Doing both at the same time is why Big Balls had to go. High usage and low efficiency
is not a recipe for winning ball.

Quick, someone get Wall a prescription for medical marijuana.

He won't need a prescription in DC fairly soon.

Well with Derrick Rose severely injuring the other knee, John might end up being the best PG in the East permanently. Sad stuff.

John killed it tonight though.

He points out a lot of good defense by Wall as well as bad defense but yet calls it "Wall's struggles on defense". Good video nonetheless. A lot of times Wall gambles on defense or focuses too much on the steal.

I believe that's due to his back issues.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Im not a full stat geek but I do want guys to get there full stats so in regards to Wall, does anyone know when his 10th ast from the previous game will be credited? Michael Lee had the article on the insider where they said that the league gave Wall another ast against the Cavs to give him 10 for the game but non of the sites have him with 10 in the game log. They all still just give him 9. Will that changer?

Probably on Monday.

Great post. I like watching video of people breaking it down.

My general take was that Washington's offense was not as well designed and they don't stick to the details. Same on defense.

Now why is that ?

Since when do you need a prescription? Hypothetically speaking.
