Didn't have anything against Rhonda Rousey, except her showing lack of class by refusing to touch gloves, but still, it was good to see she got demolished. There's a perverse pleasure in seeing the mighty get de-throned. Like when Buster Douglas humiliated Mike Tyson.

So disgusting what happened in Paris. The world is just a messed up place right now. Forget Russia or North Korea, religious extremist terrorism is the world's greatest threat.

Ended up having a fun time at the Skins game yesterday. Its always nice to see 40+ points being dropped.

Max's team is 1-1 with a blowout loss and a blowout win. She's played both games.
Scored 5 off the bench in the win. Scoreless in the loss. She proudly texted me
she has not committed a TO. Hollins live-streams their home games. She'll have
2 games in the area this weekend. Can't wait.

I am sorry to hear it, but hope this leads to happier days for you. My parents' divorce sucked at the time, but it led to so much good stuff in the future. Keep yer head up and keep using this space to let off steam. Directing your ire at Ted and Ernie is good for you :-)

Thanks for the encouragement CCJ, I now understand why lawyers sit-back and bathe in divorce money. It is a really fine line between getting along, and a scorched earth approach.

closg00, I have an idea but I can't share it, yet. Would help people out a lot and revolutionize family law. Maybe one day it'll be something I can market if GOD wills.

I know the cost of living there is pretty high.

NY, CA, Phi, MI, CHI, even southern rap is better than DC rap.

Wale sucks and so does this guy

Shy Glizzy sucks, but the beat go hard, so I can bang this at the gym

AFM, I take life as it comes. Sometimes, he'll call and want to talk forever. Another time I may call and he doesn't even want to come to the phone. His 13-year old brother is equally enigmatic but LOVES to tell me all that's really going on. He's like Joe Friday, just the facts. He also has very interest stuff to talk about. Older boy talks FOOTBALL and other sports, and ONLY WHAT he wants me to know.

I thought that might be TMI, but to me it's just the vicissitudes of being non-custodial parent who can't even see his kids due to supervised visits after my dumb incident last year. It is what it is.

MOST IMPORTANT AFM: BOTH BOYS keep me in the loop with the quickness when THEY need dad. I'm like a remote parent who they call and touch base with when nobody can help them. I MAKE SURE to listen now. I do a LOT of listening. I ALSO TALK ON THEIR LEVEL. No more mad dad when we were all in my little apartment and mom wasn't parenting. Now she's getting paid and doing all the legwork.

It's been really hard at times and at other times I've loved having freedom. I feel like I was "12 years a slave". That marriage was tough! I'm sure I'm tough to live with, too, but I'm not malevolent.

Wale sucks ...

There's a 7 foot rapper from Baltimore named e-Dubble. A friend of mine sort of manages him and tries to keep him on the right path. He's got a song called "Changed my mind" that I think is pretty awesome. He's got a ton of good stuff on youtube. If you get a chance to listen, let me know what you think.

Oh Baltimore has some great rappers. I'll check out "e-Dubble" tonight.

Joke aside, divorce could be different but not for the process.

Family law is systemically beneficial to attorneys. The cumbersome process and the legalese keeps it maximum expensive and maximum stressful. Barriers to communication are the issue. MONEY/GREED/HIDDEN AGENDA and so many other variables are at play.

Divorce runs the spectrum. Worth it to those who didn't invest much in it. DEFINITELY WORTH IT if the other party is draining the life energy away in a manner that truly cannot be reconciled.

One of my greatest ever ideas I won't even bother to share. Let's just say it's so simple I can't believe noone ever thought of it.

Anyone ever buy Wiz tickets from someone scalping outside Verizon Center on the night of the game? Curious if there are bargains, or there's a chance of getting ripped off.

I got a great bargain the first time. Two tickets, bottom section, middle, for $20 a ticket. Next time, same scalper, lured me into an alley, robbed me, raped me with a baseball bat, kidnapped my son and sold him into slavery. Never saw my son again. But, ya never know, I'm willing to try again.

Next time you'll only have to buy one ticket. I call that a win.
