I didn’t know what to say because it was all so far from the truth that it beggared belief. Some lies are so fantastical they cannot be countered without vaguely soiling the arguer.

My neighbors said the notion was bonkers. But when I suggested there was a role for white South Africans to speak up and challenge Trump’s notion that whites were being persecuted in South Africa, they demurred. “Why should I even counter something so crazy?” one of them wrote.

Because the truth is the opposite, almost the exact opposite. It’s true that news organizations, in my view, under-report from South Africa. But the reality they under-report is that white life is amazing. The average household income for white-person-headed households in South Africa, according to a 2016 survey, is five times the average income of a black-headed one. They are almost 10 percent of the country’s population and still possess nearly three fourths of its privately owned agricultural land.

The transition hasn’t been painless for white South Africans. And the country’s new president did speak recently of amending the Constitution to allow for the expropriation of land. Even so, such calls have led most South Africans, white and black, by now, just not to believe it will ever happen. Family capital and residual pro-white prejudice still works in whites’ favor.

so post tax cut "profits" vs. pre tax cut "wages." Got it.

Truth is that the working poor earning between $20-30K will see a 15-20% increase in their take home pay(post tax cut).<--by doubling the standard deduction from 12 to 24 K.

And those making $40-60K will take home about 5-15% more income.

and small businesses s-corps making under 120K will take home 15-25% more income post tax cut.

and everyone else(98% of W2 employees) making over $75K will still see a 3-4% in take home pay.

so everyone take home more money and everyone's retirement account has gone up 50-300% since trump was elected and made promises to slash corporate income rates.

and the tax cut will be revenue neutral at worst. it might even increase federal revenue.

tax cut has brought jobs back in record numbers!

UE rates are at record lows.

once Trump finishes his trade deals and we see some synergy with the tax plan...things are going to get even better. if canada gets on board quick. EU is likely to fall in line real quick. China will be on an island and forced to renegotiate. but even if they dont...if the rest of the world hits china with harsh tariffs it wont matter. they will be crushed.

and at this point they need to be crushed. We are 1-2 years away from the USA being way out in front of the entire world and in the pole position to sustained economic growth for decades.
