Yea because he has a history of getting duped right? :noway:

Wizardsdynasty and Ji leading the anti-Grunfeld crusade...I think it's safe to say that Ernie is going to sleep well tonight knowing this...

Whomever the Wiz pick will break both kneecaps in a celebratory high-five.

Beat you to bumping this, Ji. :)

Giving up the #5 for mediocre vets. Not getting the 18 that turned out to be Lawson to the Nugget (Minny schooled him). Possing at #32 on not just Blair, but on Summers, Derrick Brown, Sam Young now that was truly memorable.

The clock's ticking on EG.

Nah - start a new thread. There is gonna be a lot of Ernie hate happening here from now until FA hits

And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Keep this thread around until the summers over, I'm keeping the lid on my rage until I find-out what Ernie is going to do with all of the guards and our front-line depth.

Don't forget about the 2.5 million in cash. I'm sure we'll invest that in signing another guy, right?

C'mon, Ernie apologists, where are you now?

Didn't Ernie have some great plan?

Wasn't Miller/Foye just the first step in a big move to actually improve this roster??

Now we see what it was really all about. Dumping salary/contracts, avoiding having to pay a #5 pick, and selling a pick for cash.

C'mon, apologists...where are you now??

Best not to judge an unfinished product. Its like judging a painting that is half done...'course it doesnt look too good. The Wiz will always be a work in progress, but there will be stages in the course of a season when we can really judge the team. That will occur when the season starts, and once again when the trade deadline passes.

It's been two days since that trade. All of you need to step off the ledge. The off season hasn't even started.

Oh noes Ernie passed on an undersized PF with no ACL's. Fire him!!!!!!

CCJ...

it was a disasterous 2 days. Not because we got Foye and Miller but because as usual, we dont get all we an for our assests like trading Chris Webber during the 1st round of the NBA playoffs without talking to any other teams and not even getting a 1st from Sacramento after we gave up 3 to get him. If that happened in my fantasy league, it would of been voided and vetod lol. Now we do it again, instead of waiting to see what falls for us at 5, we settle 2 days early...we could of had Lawson who would of been an amazing back up PT guard to Gil...plus kept Song and traded Deshaun with Rubio falling for us...and of course 3 first rounders(young,Blair and Summers) fell into our lap and we sold the pick...

We could of had this tonight

Foye
Miller
Lawson
Blair

that is an A+ night imo...

only way I dont hate EG is if he gets Amare

Might actually have been true if we'd picked Blair. LOL (Seriously, how can you still play ball when you have no ACLs?)

Gil - You obviously haven't been following my posts. I wanted the 'other' DaJuan (Summers). Ernie blew that one, too.

Step off the ledge? You mean like last year when we mustered an earth shattering 19 wins?

I guess I should be excited if we get 30?

As a former EJ apologist I am absolutely done with his a$$. When you trade away half the frontcourt and pass on the best banger in the draft it is absolutely unforgiveable.

Come on man, a lot of time still left for Ernie to do some wheeling and dealing. Everything is just getting started.

Yeah, Ji.

The 18 could have been Lawson. Or even a future 1st, like what Minnesota got for it.

The 32 could have been Blair. Or Summers, Green, Brown, Calathes, etc.

And I would be happy, but EG never intended to add any young players at all. He didn't want future assets. He's all about offensive vets and cash.

i would have liked to get clark, but I definitely rather have foye and miller over flynn and curry. Evan's was gone and he was the only guard that was worth top five.
We upgraded from caron to miller. We finally got a smart defensive point guard. Blatche can do damage and EG is leaving the door open for McGee's development. I still think EG needs to get a power player to suck up fouls and wear down the opposing line but I think EG can do this over the summer. If Blair really doesn't have any knees left, then its good that we didn't draft him.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands
