Zonker. Poor guy. And he's got lots of salient stuff to say.
P.S. Back on topic. I don't see Wall growing to be a bad thing. He's already coordinated, quick, and such. It's when you grow fast while too young that you become slower, more clumbsy, and such.

So long as he's capable of being a good defender at a position, any position, fine, go nuts pituitary. If he wakes up one day as an enormous vermin er person whatever, hire Magic Johnson to coach him up, fire Magic Johnson for being so fat and let him guard small forwards or something. I'll take good defense against anybody from anybody on this team at this point.

In this pic, JWall looks a lot bigger than Irving, who is listed at 6'2".

I miss Pech. He was a more loveable Yi.

Interesting here from the Combine:
@chadfordinsiderGot measurements from the draft combine. Kyrie Irving was 6' 1.75" in socks and 6' 3.5" in shoes with a 6' 4" wingspan. But 10.3 body fat
So, that would mean that Wall's now about.......pretty darn big?

I think 6'4" in bare feet at minimum. Look at the difference in shoulder height.

Re: The John Wall Thread--Forget Cousins, How About Monroe?
Wall will and needs to get stronger, Crawford said in an interview that he will be focusing on his strength primarily this off season as well.
Wall has gotta focus on sliding his Feet on D and improving his ball handling in the halfcourt along with adding strength. He plays defense on his heels or "flat footed" (to use basketball terminology) instead of on his toes. I think he has always been so much quicker than everyone else up until this level (NBA) that his defensive fundamentals have suffered a little bit. But its not hard to improve on that, he could do that this summer.
Ball handling: He dribbles too high and because he is so tall it really projects his movement and helps defenders. he should be able to improve that as well. He needs to watch some Jason Kid film

Antoine Wright on Demarcus Cousins:
Thank god we have Wall and not that idiot.
"I'm not going to throw any of their players under the bus, but one of the main players who was a big part of our team, his attitude was really, really bad -- I'm pretty sure you can figure out who that guy is," he said before confirming that he was speaking of then-rookie forward-center DeMarcus Cousins.

Wright got waived by the Kings in November.
Cousins played some of his best basketball after Wright was waived. Cousins finished 1st team All NBA-Rookie team, and averaged 17.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists per 36-minutes; at 20 years old, the same age as Wall.
I might still make the very same trade idea knowing then what I know now. Instead of Wall at #1, Washington probably could have had something like Iguodala (and no Lewis) and the rights to Cousins, plus some future pick.

Numbers aren't everything CCJ. If your teammates (and coaching staff) can't stand you, I'd say that's a problem.
As for you still trading Wall...what else can we say other than thank god you are not the Wizards GM.

Re: The John Wall Thread--Forget Cousins, How About Monroe?
If I were, they never would have resigned Gil or Jamison to 156Mil worth of contracts. They wouldn't have drafted Kwame. They would have drafted Millsap. They never would have traded the 5th for Miller and Foye, but instead would have drafted Curry and Blair.
Tapscott wouldn't have been head coach. They would have never hired Flip, or he would have been fired already.
My coach would be Dave Joerger.
All in all, TGW, I think I'd be doing well.

are you trolling or is that serious thought? iguodala has proven what? he's a wacker version of what caron butler was in his prime. cousins is nice but with the attitude problems he's an easy pass.
i wouldn't trade wall for anything right now.
