How can it not go to a game 7?

That's what I'm hoping for. Knicks win G7.

Have a feeling they might lose tonight though. Been having too nice of a day, something's gotta give.

Knicks got this. Rooting for them to at least make game 7. Need some more Stephan A. meltdown takes.

If the NBA is going to rig the lottery, they're going to rig game 6 of the ECF. Nobody trying to watch the cornfield finals.

Pluck Steven A. Smith. I have Indiana. Siakim will come through.

However, if they lose this tonight, it'll be over for them in game seven. The Knicks will rout them at Madison Square Garden.
Bye bye Beal.

Landry Shamet is balling for the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals, yet the Wizards waived him.
Bye bye Beal.

Devon Wright. Another former Wizard is balling for the Knicks.
Bye bye Beal.

Thomas Bryant hit a Q2 three. Went to the bench.

Now, in Q3, after Rick Carlisle puts Bryant back in, Thomas B blocked a shot. Rim defender?

nate33, Bryant wasn't good enough for the Wizards, but he's having a useful stretch now.

BRYANT HIT ANOTHER THREE...

Mitchell Robinson is camping near the basket. TBis spacing the floor.
Bye bye Beal.

Mofos... Thomas Bryant just hit another three.

Tell me some more about unplayable.

Derik Queen is better than Bryant, but YOU GUYS THINK he's not worth the 6th pick.

Freaking absurd.
Bye bye Beal.

This game isn't over, but it's trending Indiana in 6, in large part to Thomas Bryant.
Bye bye Beal.

Outstanding 7-0 run by the Knicks.

My guy Bryant couldn't finish a lob with a defenderndraped on him. Bench time.
Bye bye Beal.

Yep.

nate33 says he's a total liability. That Queen is like him

I agree, Queen is similar to how Bryant is playing right now, but is even better,
Bye bye Beal.

The Thunder beat the Pacers in their two games, 120-114 in December, and 132-111 in March, I hope it's a good series.

Adam Silver you reap what you sow, you American Gothic looking pickle. Enjoy your Indiana-Oklahoma finals.

I know he's doing his best to help his guys out. Kinda glad these two cornfield teams messed with his grand plans.

As the original & by far the most vocal supporter of Thomas Bryant, I was absolutely delighted by his play last night.

Once again, last night we saw demonstrated the critical importance of picks at the top of the draft.
After all, the game was pretty clearly won by...

Pascal Siakam – 27th pick
Obi Toppin – 8th pick
Thomas Bryant – 42nd pick
(average pick position = 26)

despite the valiant efforts of...

OG Anunoby - 23d pick
Mitchell Robinson - 36th pick
Jalen Brunson - 33d pick
Landry Shamet - 27th pick
(average pick position = 29)

I do hope this will put an end to all the foolish claims about the so-called significance of
picks outside the lottery.

Thomas had a nice game thanks to improbably going 3 of 4 from 3-point range for a guy who normally shoots 32%. I was real happy for him. But a hot shooting night does not make him a consistently good player. Prior to tonight, he has been an ABSOLUTE DISASTER for Indy in the playoffs.

There's a reason why he played just 9.7 minutes a game. Up until tonight's game, Bryant' playoff per 36 numbers were:

9.1 points
6.4 rebounds
0.9 assists
1.1 blocks
1.1 steals
2.1 turnovers
5.0 fouls
.607 TS%
-4.1 BPM
-9.8 on/off differential.

He was so bad, he got completely benched in Games 3 and 4 in favor of Tony freaking Bradley, a guy who literally played just 113 total minutes in the regular season after being out of the league for 2 whole years!

You can't ignore this awful play for 15 games, then watch him improbably hit 3 of 4 3-pointers in one game, and conclude that Derrick Queen is the guy we should draft. You are providing a whole new definition to the term, recency bias.

For PiF who knows this already
It's not where you pick, it's who you pick.

Re the Finals
This might be wishful thinking but IND may have a
better chance than many would give them for the
Chip. That said, OKC is a juggernaut and it's not hard
to envision them winning in dominant fashion ie 4/5 games.

I haven't watched the game yet but was Bryant ever in the game at the same time as Kat? I doubt it.
