No. The last one was excellent. Although the first one with Jon Voight, Jean Reno, and the scenes in Prague's Old Town ("RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT") is the GOAT

I just saw last Tarantino film and didn`t enjoyed it at all. It is a mix of ideas of his past movies and mainly Reservour Dogs ( I don`t know correct spelling) all characters put in one place and try to figure who is the enemy. If You remember in RD they all where at storehouse and tried find a guy who was a rat. But RD was brilliant with great monologues and surpriding (at that time) ending. What is also common for both movies - Tim Roth great to see him back. Django was a lot better movie and I am glad this new movie didn`t won any important awards

Best things in my Netflix:

Bill Burr: I'm sorry you feel that way. His description of letting go of religion like a curler releasing a stone is brilliant.

Sightseers. Great dark, British comedy about a couple on vacation (one is a serial killer).

Black Mirror. Modern, British version of Twilight Zone.

Mr. Nobody. Finally saw after many recommendations.

I started watching Ex Machina on a flight. It started out interesting, but once it became obvious to me what was going to happen I started to lose interest and turned it off. Maybe I'll watch the end sometime.

Ex machina was great and that girl should won the golden globe but Kate Winslet is fav to the academy. Definatelly watch it to the bitter end

Ray Donavan is available to me for free via on demand so I'm 3 episodes into that and at this point it's an intersting ride but not all that extremely well thought out.

I sat through the last episode of True Blood and it was the worst cr*p I've seen in a while in terms of totally changing one character with no explanation to make everything work.

One episode into Sleepy Hollow which is kind of cheesy and formulaic but still halfway enterataining if you can suspend disbelief.

I crammed Seasons 1 - 4 in less than two weeks of Netflix marathoning. Totally worth it. Not sure I've ever been so hooked on a show. "The Sopranos," maybe ... but BB is addictive. I'm fiending for a new show to obsess on, but BB has set a pretty high bar in my mind.

I recently caved to the hype, and checked out "Orange is the New Black," which felt flimsy to me, and has way less girl-on-girl than I was led to believe.

That said, I've still got the final season of "Dexter" ahead of me to watch, but basically know what happens thanks to facebook spoilers. There's always "Downton Abbey" I guess, which is actually a really good show.

Orange is the new black works for me. I watched 3 seasons already and Can`t wait for season 4. Some drama, comedy, great cast, script, music and prison, girls sex violence what more can u ask for? :)

My taste in entertainment is outside the comfort zone. I like small, independent films that are character-driven...no Hollywood stuff for the most part. Well-written compelling stories are what I like. I am open-minded, hit me with what you really like.

I can understand those stances. I prefer strong plot development to character development but both are welcomed when available.

I watch a lot of sci-fi stuff but I dabble every now and then in more obscure movies:

"Instructions Not Included" - was a Spanish/english comedy, very clever.

Louis- the show with Louis CK, bit more popular but some people prolly could have missed it.

Trollhunter- literally what it sounds like... kinda dry at times but entertaining, it is one of those movies filmed as if someone was filming it (blairwitch etc..) so if you don't like sudden shaky images I could see why you'd avoid it.

The Babadook- one of the best horror movies I've seen in the past 10 years. If you liked Insidious (another outstanding horror movie) then you may enjoy this too.

Bullet in the Face- this was a series on... IFC I think.. but it was extremely dark hilarious humor. Netflix probably doesn't have it on streaming but they may on rental. Only 6 episodes I believe.

Now some sci-fi :P

Moon- not a big budget hollywood movie, and it showed. Smart plot and interesting take on the future of lunar utilization.

Europa- another obscure sci movie (relatively), literally about traveling to Europa and looking for life. It has some horror elements. Little dry at first but picks up considerably.

Sunshine- Might not be on netflix streaming but if you can get the blu ray copy, it had a very original story, IMO good acting and some enjoyable characters.

"Dark City"- This may not be on netflix streaming either, but this movie was great for its time. I don't want to say too much about it in case you get your hands on it. I like to think movies like The Matrix and Inception got a quite a bit of their questions of reality from this movie.

If you're willing to give Anime a try, "Attack on Titan" was great on characters and story... can be gruesome at times however.

If you got any suggestions as well, plz share.

I love going to movies, so here's my June movies. I just saw Independence Day: Resurgence. It felt like a 3 hour movie, slow at times and way too much Liam Hemsworth. Unfortunately there will probably be a 3rd one. Central Intelligence, good story line, better than i thought it was going to be. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart make a better duo then Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. TMNT2, i loved the cartoons, i enjoyed the first one, the second one was great b/c they added Casey Jones, Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang. You know what to expect when Michael Bay directs a film, a lot of action and things blowing up.

Seven years ago I started this thread. Wow.

So much has happened. Divorce. Lost custody. Arrested. Went to all kinds of court. Family. Civil. Criminal--much of it false accusations. Barred from entry on some installations. Haven't seen my sons in over two years. My dad died. I've seen the worst side of SOME people who I trusted. All manner of strange/strained stuff and some kinda weird. (BUT THROUGH IT ALL A LOT OF GREAT THINGS HAVE HAPPENED).

I SAY ALL OF THAT TO SAY: I'm encouraged! God is good all the time. Face forward. Go and GROW. LIVE AND LEARN AND LOVE.

I haven't been to a movie at a theater in months. I watch DVDs that I get free from a military library. But GUESS WHAT?

I'm actually IN a movie. :D

And for all the BS, lots of good things are on the horizon.

I've seen a ton of good movies lately.

--MaDea Goes to Jail was extremely funny! Don't want to give away the scenes, but it's a must-see.

--Grand Torino was another epic Clint Eastwood film. Loved the ending for it's full circle effect.

--Transporter 3 was action-packed with real good romantic twist. Way better than the lame James Bond flick with James Craig. This movie was great.

--Pineapple Express was about as funny as Madea. Laughed til I cried at the dude who just wouldn't die.

--Tropic Thunder was another silly flick that really appealed to silly me. Great Parodies. Best of all was the dancing of Tom Cruise.

--Bolt was a decent kid's flick.

--Burn After Reading was one movie that I wish I hadn't seen. Disturbing content where pretty much all ends up bad. Malkovic, Pitt, Clooney, and the lady were all pretty vile to me. Sorry I saw that one. This black man isn't down with black comedy, I guees. Unless it's Madea black...

--Delgo was a violent computer-animated kid flick that had messages about war in it. Saw that alone and (thankfully) for free. (Helps to know people at the movie theater). I didn't hate it but it was different.

--Run Fat Boy Run was a British film that critics hated but I thought was funny as hell. Maybe it's cuz I'm fat and can't run well anymore, either. About a dad who ran out on the woman he loved only to watch her as a single mom raise his son and prepare to wed a creepy dude. My kind of movie!

--Australia was a long movie, but it appealed to the historian in me. I like it a lot, actually. Good to learn something of the plight of the Aborigines and their mistreatment by Australians, as well as how Japan bombed Austraila in WWII.

--Valkyrie was a real decent movie. Very suspenseful even though you know going in that the plot to assassinate Hitler failed. What I didn't realize was how many Germans wanted Hitler's antics to end and how extensive the plot to kill him was. (If the movie is to be believed).

Movies I planned to see but didn't for one reason or another: Etta James (forget the real title), Benjamin Button, and Slum Dog Millionaire (will probably be the next flick I see).

Any other opinions on these or other movies?

Does that movie have a name? When will it be at Foxchase 1 2 & 3? (Foxchase: It's Not Just Porn!) When you're on the screen, no matter what's going on in the movie, I'm going to say really loudly, "HEY, I KNOW THAT GUY!" then continue talking about it intermittently through the rest of the movie, just so everyone knows I'm serious.

I dreamed I was in a Hollywood movie, and that I was the star of the movie. This really blew my mind.
