King of Shaves has changed my life. I'll never use Edge gel again -- and I used the stuff for twenty years. KoS, people. They sell it at Target now.

I haven't -- didn't know they made one. I still use the Gilette blades, and pay what seems like a fortune to do so.

Yeah, KoS makes good stuff. But even that wasn't enough to keep me using a blade. This is where it's at:

I have thick, coarse, eastern-European facial hair. AIn't no electric for that.

Somehow I went from pondering Ernie letting Gee go and having Gee signed for the year by the Spurs; and from having Harris signed for the year by the Rockets; and having Dallas going into the playoffs with Butler and Haywood, to this ....

I don't know. Guess it's also laughable. :)

Now I remember. Monty Python had a skit about Dennis Moore. One time he stole from the poor and gave to the rich....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp-R1o753pM

Ernie's redistributing the talent in the NBA by taking players who could be Wizards and giving them to more prosperous teams. EG's the Dennis Moore of GMs.

(Stimulus package side commentary notwithstanding, I just thought it was funny.)

So I had applied at George Washington University as a transfer student from here at VCU. I submitted a request to have my transcript and college officials report sent to the GW admissions office three weeks ago. Find out today that they mailed the stuff out three days ago... to my house address instead of the GW admissions office. Now I'm **** screwed because the deadline to mail stuff was April 1.

Unbelievable. I am so **** pissed it's beyond words.

Without even seeing what the rules are, I'd still say get on the phone or email and talk to someone at GW to see if that actually excludes you. I have seen and heard countless stories of schools bending minor administrative rules, including filing deadlines and eligibility requirements, to help students overcome innocent errors. GW's a private school and perhaps can more easily bend rules.

You'll never know until you call, and don't be put off if the first one or two are dead ends either. Just use some country charm (don't be mad or angry, make them like you and want to help you) and persist until someone helps. Hope to see you in DC.

PS: you might want to confirm that VCU didn't send a copy to you and one to GW.

I just went ahead and had my stuff mailed again from the VCU records office with a note attatched that I had actually done my due diligence a month ago and this was on the school. I'm just more worried about the fact that this is all happening right at the deadline. My grades and achievements shouldn't prevent me from attending GW but if dumb stuff like this screws me over, I'll be pissed of beyond belief.
