His TS% last year was .628 -- way way above average.

PIF... Lets walk through this.
Through 4 years and almost 6k minutes Rui had a TS of 55%. Then last year he had a tremendous shooting year and had a TS of 63%. He is now at...you guessed it... 55%. And that is with him shooting 60% on 3's.
His other numbers (Rebounds, Assist, blocks, steals, usage, fouls, FTr, etc.) are all the same.
His drop in turnovers are helpful I guess, but the offensive rebounding and 3pt shooting are clearly unsustainable.
Again, he is still the same guy. Really good shooter and man defender, but his poor passing and team defense highlight his poor IQ/awareness.
But I wish him luck. I always really liked Rui
No need to make too much of this exchange, but overall this year Rui is playing very well again. W/o doubt this on a small sample, but that cuts both ways. Last year may have been the exception that proves the rule -- of course. But... let's hope not.
