He played 39 minutes in that game. It was his first double-double in over a month.

Rubio has more double-doubles than Wall and averages fewer minutes. For a first-year NBA player, Rubio is doing quite well.

I wish we had given him a call-up.

“I’ve done it like if I’m messing around in pregame warmups, or maybe like layup lines,” Green said.
“A teammate asked me, ‘Next time you get a chance to do a dunk, do something nasty.’ So I tried. I’m just so glad it went in because if it didn’t, I don’t know where I’ll be.”
Green’s head hovered over the rim, causing the Prudential Center crowd to go crazy twice — once when it happened, again when it was replayed on the JumboTron. “Man! I’ve seen a lot in my career — and that was special,” Avery Johnson said. “Pretty special. And it was a pretty on-time and on-target pass (from Brooks), and I guess that’s gonna make a lot of highlights.”
So maybe Saturday’s dunk wasn’t too surprising. His final stat line, however, was abnormal for a D-League call-up, Lin-esque, if you will: Green hit 10 of his 15 shots, including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc.
But he also accidentally tipped in the Rockets’ go-ahead bucket off a defensive rebound with 1:03 remaining.

Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
