A bigger factor than who is more valuable is the simple fact that it was a momentum killer. We didn't need anything to disrupt the rhythm we had, and (much like the lights going out in the Super Bowl) that did the trick.

Oh well. This is on Wall, I hope he takes this upon himself singlehandedly.

When we go into OKC, Miami, Indy, Chicago, etc the only way we're going to come out with a win is if he plays like a superstar. If he didn't know, now he knows.

you guys are smoking crack saying that its a no brainer to take that layup. He didnt hit any rim. If it was an easy layup then he wouldfve atleast hit rim. he beat his man but Jackson came off the corner guy and was right in his face. Wall had to come from under and then go over Jackson. Thats a very hard layup. Ill take that wide open corner J any time over that. Pros can hit that all day and that is actually Ariza's shot

Actually, Nene getting tossed was terrible.

He stabilizes the offense.

Man, if Webster just hit a little more from 3.

1-7 from Webster from 3 ? Thats not Webster.

Tough loss for the Wiz. This was my first time watching them this season (Grizz fan) but they look very promising. I was rooting for you guys.

Aside from missed freethrows, I saw alot of standing around by the Wizard players on loose balls and that really hurt them. Also letting Ariza and Webster touch the ball late hurt as well. Should have been Gortat, Wall, and Beal making plays at the end. After Gortat beat his man twice to the basket, it's a shame they didn't go back to that. Force OKC to stop it or if they doubled, he's a good enough passer to find the open man.

Also, I respect Wall for being unselfish and deferring to Beal when he had it going. I think he did what any good point guard is suppose to do. Get the ball to the guy with the hot hand. So I hope you guys aren't too hard on him for not being "dominant" this game. Oh...and he was definitely fouled on that last play.

Also, it doesn't seem like Beal or Wall attack the rim enough. They moved the ball well around the perimeter, but I didn't see enough attacking the basket from either of those two. Is this the norm?

Here you go again. How about the guy is playing with back spasms and he let Beal and others go off. He still can't shoot. He did his job for the most part and we almost beat a great team on the road.

shutup clown. you said that last game and then I saw you ripping him during the game but cant no one else say anything? Dont give me the back spasms talk. Wall plays like this anyways alot of times. He simply wont try to be a Superstar unless he is forced into i for some reason

Rebounding and foul shooting killed them. They got outrebounded by 17 and missed 13 foul shots.

Agree a million percent. We're down 1, not 3. He has to make that shot. He's become a terrible finisher all of a sudden.

How about the fact that he's playing with back spasms?

Let's just take the good out of this loss.

It was still awesome to see Beal go for 34 though.

Nate, I appreciate your level thinking. I think you're right.

What bothers me is they lost the first home game to Philly. They really should be 3-3.

Wall is definitively NO superstar. Nene is the guy who ups this team with his level of play at both ends when he is on his game.

Wittman might want to let Vesely and Booker in for rebounding.

Wall was way more aggressive last season, not sure why he is trying to play differently this season. He's taking way more jumpers and not enough layups/dunks.

Why would anyone pass up a layup for a 3 pointer which will miss most of the time? That is just dumb. All he had to do was go glass. He has finished tougher shots that that a million times.

That has been the case so far this season. Beal is a shooter with poor handles and Wall just isn't driving like in years past. Almost all offense these days comes from the perimeter.

Sefolsha had 8 boards and Jackson had 7 in just 28min. How in the world can that happen? Tired of getting outhustled in these games

There's no way Wall should've missed that layup. All he had to was use the backboard!

I actually think OKC benefitted from Westbrook's ejection. He was playing out of control all game. Reggie Jackson was much better. And we needed Nene down the stretch.
