The record of the team should have no impact on ticket prices. You are paying for the experience, not the wins and losses. Why should your ticket price decrease? You are paying to see quality basketball from a team of professional NBA players led by an All Star (John Wall). Verizon Center is a top quality venue inclusive of gourmet food options, amenities, club lounges and suites. Teams like the Lakers and Knicks, ticket prices remain at a premium regardless of the teams record and Staples Center and Madison Square Garden regularly sell out. So again, why should your ticket price decrease?

This is not written by someone who pays for tickets. More likely, someone who sells them.

The Wizards basketball experience from a fan standpoint isn't great. Leonsis hasn't done anything that I can recall since taking over to improve the in game experience for the fans.

Full on Monumental shill, or just a very sad human being that gets a rise out the reaction he gets from trolling people non-stop.

Wizards fans have been getting fleeced for decades, his lack of awareness and empathy is astounding.

With my 10,000th post on this website, I've learned a lot about my fanhood of this team and others... clearly the most profound thing I have learned over the years is clearly this...... **** Ernie Grunfeld. #FireGrunfeld

Fleeced?

The last 2 back to back seasons this team made the playoffs with almost 50 wins each season.

If we lose tonight, Ernie's last, ass-saving move is to fire Randy for a coaching "jolt"

Markieff Morris 16 points 13 reb. Looks as if this trade was worth it and will pay off. Great Acquisition.

He showed some passing skills, too. Plus a clutch shot late.

It was essentially giving away a 1st rounder for him that is so irritating, Ernie loves to ditch draft assets.

Morris is young. If he matches or outproduces the pick we would have selected, it was worth it and you eliminate risk.

And you take away the upside risk of accidentally getting a superstar - ah, pay no mind: Grunfail is drafting.

if you miss on Durant, then you're going to be able to get all the morris tiered players you can handle

as dckingsfan says, would rather have the off-chance of getting a star player in the draft

Average age in the NBA is 26.8. Morris is 26.5. He's middle-aged for the NBA, not young. And no, Morris was not acquired to minimize risk. That's not what happens when a team trades for a guy who quit on his previous team.

Has anyone else seen the 30 for 30 Bernie and Ernie? Apparently Ernie used to get mad trim in college.

Bernard King had such a reputation as a badass, I didn't know he was so cool and well spoken.

EGg reportedly caught a case from some of that tail. And didn't BK have a sexual predator history?

Just got triggered seeing Ernie on the Wizards analytics segment on NBA TV, the guy could sell the Brooklyn bridge.
