BTW, until today it had never occurred to me that Trevor Booker & Devin Booker might be brothers. They are!

Devin Booke's father, Melvin Booker, played at Missouri back in the late 80s early 90s. He was built like Tim Hardaway and about the same size and complexion. He was a game manager.

Portis can opt-out after this season, a small gamble, but he is worth more than the 13.5 he will make next-year

I'm not sure either way. He's a good scorer but he still struggles on the defensive end. Bucks may pay more though since they have his bird rights.

Garrison Matthew's had 25 points on 7/8 3pt FGs.

Daniel Gafford had 23 points on 7/7 FGs and 9/14 FTs. For Gafford to get that many free throws is significant.

I spotted Gheorghe before Thanksgiving in the parking lot at homedepot. I called out to him and he stopped to chat with my wife and me. He’s my wife’s favorite Bullets player ever. He was limping worse then I do but he made my wife’s day. We had gone to multiple events to meet him but we were always there too early (first in line) and didn’t see him. The man is generous with his time and so friendly. Always glad to see him doing well.

The Master said, "Is not Reciprocity such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others."

They're talking about replacing Beal in the Suns starting line-up, because of player angst on the team. What an empty calorie player he is.

Only the Wizards could let such an empty calorie player like him fool them into giving him that contract along with a NTC. At least he's PHX's headache now, but man he sucks.

I'm out before someone tells me but but he was such a good representative for the franchise because he gave canned responses to our sycophantic local sports media.

Complete fraud.

I used to be a Westbrook hater, but his stint here in DC inspired me to reassess.

He is such an unusual player. He is inefficient and has no conscience, so the stat nerds can fairly easily conclude that he is a net negative on offense given his TS% and USG%. But somehow, when I watch him play, I can't help but include that his relentless energy and aggressiveness have positive effects that aren't being counted by the stats. If nothing else, it's just a pleasure to watch him play with so much effort and joy. And it truly is remarkable that, at age 36, he is still one of the best athletes in the NBA.

By the way, Jokic casually posted 35 points (on a .714 TS%), 15 assists, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and only 1 turnover that game, and it's not even the headline. He was +33 in the 38 minutes he played that night. In the 10 minutes he sat, the Nuggets were outscored by 14.

Yeah, I never had an issue with Westbrook and I really enjoyed his Time here.
