Honest question for Wizards fans.....What is your team lacking? Your team still doesn't look as good as the sum of it's parts (didnt last year either) I know Beal is gone, but both Gortat and Nene are healthy and with Wall finally breaking through to that next level, along with a solid bench, you guys should be really strong.

So is it the coaching? The way the pieces fit? The compete level of the core players? A specific type of player lacking (real high end glue guy?). Again, not trolling, just genuinely interested.

I think the GM focused too much on good players top to bottom at the expense of great players at the top. The team could really use another alpha-in-his-prime type player. It's not clear who will take over games in crunch time.

Beyond that, many here complain about the coach. I don't think he's the central issue, and he's gotten the team to buy into a team defense concept, but I don't see him being the one who takes them to the next level.

In a short time, the team went from "young and exciting" to having so much of the fortune wrapped up in older players, Nene, Gortat, Pierce, Miller, along with other veterans--Webster, Blair, Humphries--who may have injury issues (as in, Webster out).

All of the above have an impact on the way the team gels. Still, the team hasn't OK until this game. It's a wake up call, but I'll need to see more to conclude they're worse than I expected (predicted a 46-36 record, 4th seed, behind Cavs, Bulls, Raptors).

Good luck WSH, see you next time. Hopefully with Beal back, should be fun. From a fanbase that saw much of Kris Hump, I hope he has learned by this point of his career that he isn't a shooting guard.

Pierce is old, washed up and a hole on defense

First time seeing Temple play..a little disappointed because he's on my fantasy team. He's disruptive on defense at times, but doesn't make enough of an impact. I was hoping he could get ~25 minutes as a 3+D Ariza replacement when Beal comes back

I really hated to see Ariza go. Pierce made an impact in a couple games and Porter is developing. Time will tell on Ariza and the Wizards.

True- but Wizards want to develop Porter and keep the hope of Kevin Durant or w/e free agent could be available in 2016.
