Kenneth Faried played in the Delco Pro-Am League tonight. Very unimpressive. Played most of the game, had 4 pts, 6 reb. That's it. Maybe Faried could've grabbed more rebounds, I don't know. But offensively he is so limited. Can't shoot at all, not even free throws. If Faried couldn't dominate in a summer league against a team full of former and current Penn players, how's he gonna do well in the NBA?

Sorry, but I never heard of 3 of those guys and Collins has proven to be nothing special - so it's a bit hard to have a reaction.

I think the point was that Faried should have dominated in that game regardless of who his teammates were. Rooks will have up and down games no-doubt.

Penn, as in University of Pennsylvania? Well, if that's the case, I'd say Farried should have dominated...easily. Hell, Kevin Seraphin could dominate that bunch.

Pretty sure John Wall could use a guy like this to run with... I'm just a little bit sick inside, again. Man. Singleton will have a lotta work to do to surmount this one. Not to mention Vesely.

Note: Before this guy has ever played I said (a long time ago already) that Faried will score in double figures, right away in the NBA. Scouts who ignored 20/20 games and NCAA-leading double doubles just ignored points, stupidly.

Also, I think Faried will end up a HOF player if he is not injured. Simply because of his motor and that he's like Rodman on steroids and a better offensive player by far than Rodman. He's also a very good defender and one who can defend SF well IMO.

Faried will be a great player.

Kid does have a motor. I think you may be right about this one CCJ. I just never saw that in any other video of his.

When a guy is that athletic, does it really matter how tall he is? Faried is a little taller than Barkley, and that man was a terrific PF/SF who could really rebound. You cannot coach energy, exuberance, and athleticism. Faried has an abundance of those attributes.

He already knows how to rebound and how to finish. As high as he gets up I believe his offense will come pretty easily in the NBA, IMO.

No, there's no conclusion to come to over one meaningless game - especially when you're a defensive minded player playing with a hodge-podge of ordinary players against a team that's played together. And Penn has had a couple of NBA players in the 2000's - who knows (or cares) if they played or not.
