I'm home sick. Watching daytime TV has brought me to one very clear opinion:

-- Nancy Grace may be the most irritating and obnoxious person on television. Jeebus H. Christmas. That voice. That holier-than-thou attitude. That in ability to avoid non sequiturs....that last one is most irritating.

CNN Interviewer: Nancy, what do you say to the (defendant's) family that they didn't get any legal representation while being interviewed by cops??

Nancy Grace: (screeching) What are you saying? That if you don't have a law degree you can't commit a murder?????

PINE: (Yelling at the TV). Oh. My. Fukking. God. Get off the damn TV, woman!

Guys, thanks for the decade of discussions and memories on the board. I've asked Nate to retire/lock my account.

Many of us long time members seem to have gone from positive/hopeful debates to bickering/crotchety old-timers. I leave the board in the capable hands of a younger, and hopefully more positive fanbase.

Thanks for the memories.

The Slurs run to the playoffs has been clarifying for me. I realized that I have truly reached the point where I don't care about what they do one way or the other. I'm still sorta interested in the outcome, but it's more like my interest in how the Orioles or DC United are doing. I haven't watched a full NFL game this season, and I don't see that changing until the Super Bowl.

Did Shaq look GIGANTIC last night on TNT.

He seemed short of breath, speaking was more of a task than anything

It looked like Chuck and crew felt bad for him.

Can't wait for Sunday. I always like going to playoff games but its something different when its the Redskins. The town is just crazy, I think the people are falling in love with the team again.

I just caught a few minutes - with Chuck talking about wanting to go play blackjack. Speaking of sad - It's clear Chuck has a bad gambling problem. No matter how much money you have, you can lose it all if you're a gambling addict. It's not an uncommon problem.
