Just play all your bigs at once, stick 'em around the basket and grab any offensive boards and you'll win this. Please win... we're hoping the constant losing convinces our idiot owner to break the warriors up.

That's such incredibly stupid logic. We are not the Lakers. We have 8 wins. There's no reason why you have to risk injury with a tired Wall, especially in a condensed season. So what if Mack sucks right now. So does half the team. Or most of the team. Let the kids play and then re-evaluate after the season.

That.

Adding wear and tear to our franchise PG for the sake of a few more wins is both pointless and insane.

Lol, Crawford calls off Wall and isolates to close the half.

And airballs a deep 3.

Can't make this crap up.

Nothing like an iso with no screen and Crawford with fake swag. Just terrible. :(

Looks like Crawford's hot streak coming to an end.

Nice scoring by Booker but his rebounding needs to pick up.

Wall has 9 assists in one half and the team is still shooting 42%...

my statement had nothing to do with Mack. Even if we had a good backup I want him to play 40. Youre not risking injury. Some guys can handle that. Im not just talking about now. Im talking about every year he should play 40. Some guys can handle more minutes then others and you can tell he's got that AI-Gil type of energy.

Also, wins means nothing. You can argue thats even less of a reason for the Lakers to play Kobe that much, just like Pop doesnt. To each there own but my point is Wall can handle the minutes. Maybe not in a shortened season isnt smart but in general he can handle it. I might shortened for a backup like Crawford or someone who is solid but not Mack. Still, I want him to be on the floor. 40

Crawford is not an NBA player. He is the living metaphor for the trials the beset the soul of a sports fan; the anguish of unrelenting failure and the bliss of unexpected brilliance made manifest into one perfectly flawed being born for one great purpose - to dunk on Lebron James, then shoot himself off of every roster he lands on.

Also, I hate him.

And some guys can't. You know how you find out? By playing them too much and screwing up their knees. Let's totally take that chance for a couple more wins in a tanking season. Great idea!

In a less snarky response, DLTS20:

I've read some work linking total minutes played with decline in PER; it's not age that kills a player so much as the number of minutes they've logged. That doesn't mean bench players last longer, mind you, but it means peak players CAN burn out.

No reason to do that to Wall unless we're in championship contention mode.

Crawford is fool's gold. Like Nick, with passing ability and without the man-to-man defensive ability.

This game shows that the Wizards have only two players that can get PT on a championship team, and one of them is probably a decent bench player on that championship team AT BEST.

Wall and Booker.

The record is 184. :o

more mind-numbing, it's 186. to be fair it did take 3 OT's but still... 4 guys scored 40+ pts.

oh and yeah, our defense leaves much to be desired tonight and crawford's hot streak is cooling at an alarming rate. like, ripped a hole in your space-suit fast.

Im not just saying play Wall that much because he's our best player. I agree that alot of guys cant do it. I think its crazy for the Lakers to do it. Kobe never gets a break and they go deep in the playoffs every year so he's played a trillion games but some people have that in them and Wall is that. You can just tell. He's like AI & Gil. Even more like AI than Gil. Does he get tired? Yes, only because he plays 100mph so it would be harder for him but he doesnt need much rest.

Its also not just about minutes with me. Its about production. I dont mind him sitting if we have quality backups but I hate it when he goes out, we start getting killed, and Mack is stinking it up. Im alway like "put Wall in already". He doesnt need to sit out 6min in the 2nd. Bring him back in after 4

Wall pushes the ball up hard in transition. He is a one man fast break. Expecting him to play 40 minutes in a condensed season makes about as much sense as expecting Blatche to play smart.
