Excuse me if I find that notion absurd.

how else do you explain only 4 shot attmepts and 2 assists in an entire half going up against jeff teague? some nights he just doesn't bring it. just use the eye test man. he is passing it as soon as he gets accross half court every posession and then doing nothing.

he pulled the same thing against d-fisher and the lakers when he should have OWNED fisher. there is just no excuse for it other than some nights he just is disinterested.

So without Lewis the Wiz will be at like 35M next year with 13M being their most expensive contract. Thats not do bad. They havent looked that good since before AJ arrived.

You know, Drays contact really isnt that big a deal. What is the minimum they need to spend ?

I do kind of miss the Wall/McGee alley oops.

We need a leaper/finisher to come in at PF now. Hope thats Davis.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

That one baseline shot to end the second was taken with a lot of confidence. He doesn't usefully show that well off the dribble. I guess he sees Edwin out there shooting and got the message it time to get it going.

Competition makes a difference.

How about that one to Nene?

Sick pass by Nene to Singleton before that.

And Nene passed to a cutting Wall twice I think. Nice to have a smart vet center. Even if he can't jump. He always has a body on his man and he played the post position very well. You don't have to jump all the time if you box out.

Substance over style.

How do I explain them? Simple, he didn't have good looks and his shot wasn't falling so he ran the offense and deferred to players that were shooting better.

As for the Lakers, all you have to do is go back and read the post game comments by Wittman and Wall for your answer.

One think I am seeing a lot with Nene is this.

He doesn't go after everything. He is boxing out and playing the miss. Sometimes that mean they will score but he is not going to get himself out of position just become someone get close to the basket. So far, he seems to be guessing right. They miss and he is in position to rebound.

He also defends that kind of play sometimes by stepping toward the player and then playing the passing angle.

Basically he plays position defense.

Well.. ahh.. yeah. I guess that is what I was saying.

But he is an above average center so I'm sure every teams center doesnt look that good.

Wall is off tonight. Not a very good game for him.

Nene 18 and 10 with 2 assists 2 blocks in 23 minutes. Not bad. :D
