I didnt even know about this game. Can someone tell me if it was on TV and will they reshow it?

With the Skins playing and the Nats in a playoff game, I can't imagine anyone watching a Wizards preseason game against the **** Bobcats. :lol:

Frankly, it's pretty hard to imagine regardless of what's going on with the Skins or Nats.

Wow. I just noticed the Wizard took 99 shots to 71 from the Bob.

Also the Bob had 46 FTA to only 21 from the Wiz.

20 turnovers each.

Sounds like an ugly sloppy game. Maybe it was best they didn't broadcast it.

hello from the Charlotte board, i was at the game. just wanted to say I think Beal is a stud. when I came home after the game and looked at the box score I was kinda surprised he shot 7/17. seemed like everything he did was in the flow of the game and he played very controlled and of course smooth as advertised. good at getting open. plus he definitely has the type of game where playing off of Wall and Nene will just make him better and vice versa. not a nick young type scorer or anything..more Ray Ray for sure.

Sounds like it was a rough start but they made a run at the end.

Webster had a standout performance in the fourth quarter, when he scored 14 points and helped the Wizards cut an 18-point second-half deficit down to six with less than four minutes remaining. Webster made two three-pointers and also led the team with four free throws and added two steals and blocked shot.

I watched a post game interview with Webster. He seems to be an intense guy who is smart. I like how he mentioned "we" and a focus on watching film.

Thanks for posting this. It's a shame the game wasn't televised, I was really looking forward to watching MKG.

The Wiz are hoping to be PG-13, When they start the season, hopefully one of their 13 or so players will be able to play PG. Otherwise, they won't be safe for viewing without psychiatric supervision.

Martell Webster was the #6 pick in the draft. A lot of people must have thought he had talent. And he's definitely smart (and funny -- take a look at the "Wizards Minute" interview w/ him on the team's site).

I would also call him a pretty good bargain at $1.6m. Whatever we get from him it's a plus.

That said, he is looked on as having a relatively low basketball IQ, not playing much defense, and being... a bust.

Of course, now he's wearing a Wizards uniform, so he'll be great.

That particular game might have been more appropriate for the Commedy Channel.

Maybe SciFi since they include horror.

Preseason Wiz vs NY Thur 11th 7PM CSN

This next one is broadcast. I confirmed this. I saw it on my Comcast schedule and have the DVR set to record it.

It will be great to finally get a look at Beal and the other players so we can get a first hand accounting as to what they actually look like.

Hopefully at least Booker and Okafor are ready to play.

We also need a Pargo update.

They may still need to slide Crawford to PG so Mack can back him up with Beal starting and Webster and Martin backing him up. That may be the best they can do with Wall out until they can see what Pargo can do.

Maybe start

Craw vs Felton
Beal vs JR Smith
C Singleton vs Melo
Booker vs Amare
Okafor vs T Chandler

This game could get ugly with no Wall, Nene, Booker or Pargo. I would have to guess they get Okafor and Booker out there just to keep things some what sane.

I gotta feeling that Booker is going to be surprisingly good this year and emerge as one of our primary scoring options. His build and style of play reminds me so much of Paul Millsap.

Well, Pargo and Okafor practiced. Still no Booker though..

We may have to start calling Booker ... FIAT

So currently sided for now are Booker (sore left hamstring), Nene ( foot ), Wall ( knee )
