I watched Nate Robinson hit shots Wall couldn't hit. I didn't see Isaiah Thomas get the best of Wall again, but it happened. Jrue Holiday made the All Star team and he is the same age as Wall (but one more NBA season in experience). He hits shots Wall cannot hit, even if he turns it over more and is not the passer John is. Holiday is a better on ball defender IMO.

John Wall in half court, tontoz--it's not pretty when they zone up and dare him to shoot.

Wall's complete lack of a jump shot plus his inability to keep his dribble alive in tight quarters tell me he will never be an elite PG in this league. He's the best transition player in the league, but I'd easily give up some of his speed if he learned to pace himself and play confidently in the half court.

Trading him now before his value declines even more is the shrewd move, of course it won't be done.

Horrible game from Wall, 3-12 with 5 turnovers.

I am losing patience with Seraphin. He doesn't seem to be making any progress on his two huge problem areas, rebounding and attacking the rim.

Cant believe we fell for this team. How many more PG's have to school john wall before we start considering him a bust? Year 3 and he's borderline top 15 pg. Pretty week. He's becoming an Andrea Bargnani type #1 pick.

Brandon Jennings, Jrue Holiday, and Kyrie Irving are all around Wall's age. So is Ty Lawson.

I felt great two games ago but Wall has returned to form from his first two seasons. When he plays this way he's not better than guys I just mentioned.

Haha......how quickly the tide turns. Went on a business trip for a few weeks, come back and it went from winning 70% of remaining games to "blow up the team". :)

Trade Wall, Seraphin, and Nene.

Wall for Kemba and the Charlotte pick. I would.

I was wondering why other teams weren't doing this sooner, Philly is a well-coached team. The solution should be that we have another PG close-out in the 4th, even if is Price.

:D

Induveca, for the last two weeks I have been repenting of my Wall hating ways. But right now, I'm feeling like William Munny in "Unforgiven." Right after he has a drink …

I think the excitement and energy that John Wall's return has worn off and the team is just reverting back to who they really are. Kinda of like when a sucky team gets a new coach and they go on a short run, before sucking again.

I agree on both counts. I am sick of other teams abusing us on the boards when Seraphin is in the game. All the dude cares about his getting his shots.

He can't. I keep seeing people saying they want him to take over, but he doesn't have the skill set to do it if the team is playing even mediocre transition D.

He can't drive by you when you're backing off and giving him room for jumpers, same reason he can't get into traffic and dribble around like you see elite PGs like CP3 doing.

They really need to start running some high PNR for him, because speed is just about all he has besides above average court vision.

Wall does need to stop with the Wade impersonation when he falls down on every drive to the hoop. That actually is making him annoying more then entertaining at times.

This.

Also, im kind of glad i got the final score spoiled.

I'm half way through the 3rd quarter and I think im just going to turn it off. Silly turnovers, sloppy basketball, its like im watching the under 9's play down at the rec centre.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I agree. Dude just has no lateral moves in the half-court. While he has fantastic straight-line speed, he's not "quick". He's not good at breaking down the defense in a half-court setting. This team is making a huge mistake building around Wall as a franchise player.

For me his 4th year is the year that will decide it all for him.

After that we should probably give up.
