Huh? The guy is not great but gives a solid effort most games, especially on the boards. If we had any kind of backup center or 4 man, he'd get less minutes.

he gives average effort. He's just an average center through and through. He isn't bad, but I think since we haven't had a good center in a while we don't know a good center when we see one. Yes he defensively rebounds well, but everything else...is just...meh. Part of my frustration is Randy is putting him consistently in positions to fail. He, nor Nene should be guarding Ersan. One of them needs to become a backup for the other.

Wall hit a three this game and it looks like he is stepping up to the challenge.

The best thing in the world would be for Wall to surprise and shock and prove me and other critics wrong.

Wall plays like this every night and he will actually be a top 5 point guard

Surgical Tank

Never a doubt.

Now they come back and lose to NO and PHX and put this thing to bed.

Then we can get to winning some more games.

They will beat both Cats and PHX on the road.

More important for them to win two road games then PHX and NO at home.

Career game for Garrett Temple (?). He played 42 minutes and ended up +19 if this box score is correct.

EDITED-- Temple has actually previously scored 17 (and 15 this season) and he's played 47 minutes before.

Good to see Booker have a breakthrough. He can play and just needs to stay healthy.

Should have never benched him. Randy messed with the line ups to much.

I like Temple.

Bring back Beal, and Randy may finally have figured out the rotations.

Always said Price should be the 3rd PG. Oh well, better late then never I guess.

For now, just do these same minutes and rotations. Let Beal rest.

Wall's 3 on brandon after the crossover was pure nasty. Go back and look at it. He had Jennings dancing like he was doing the harlem shake

Can we please just cut Martin now. He isn't going to be on the team next year.

I didn't even want him on the team this year.

Bring back Almond. :D

:)

FYI Mo's stats have not been overwhelming this season but now that he's with the LA Defenders, he's on a winning D-League team and I think Almond will eventually get another call up. He had a good game a few games back.

On the subject of call ups, Shelvin Mack is having a pretty good game off the bench for ATL against the Lakers. I expect Mack might make this roster the rest of the season. He and John Jenkins were balling against Nash and Blake.

Realistic expectations!!! If he played like this every night he'd be an MVP candidate....

The tank got rolling in the 2nd half but Wall and Booker just sabatoged it. It has been so long since Booker was a factor that i forgot how much he can impact a game.

Tank worries aside it is definitely nice to see Wall have another strong game. I especially like the way he is using floaters in the lane more often rather than trying to force his way to the rim all the time. Also nice to see him taking 3s. Seeing him cross Jennings and then make a 3 was :o

Aside from another spectacular performance by Wall, it was great to see Book step up. A that point if any of the rookie contract crew can step up and make themselves a piece worth keeping around, I'd be thrilled.

Every time Wall made a floater I yelled "yes!" because that's a shot that can help make John a special player if he develops that shot the way that Tony Parker has.

I did not see all of the game, but I was thinking the same thing even-though I knew Martin is a bit hobbled. Martin won't be back next year. If this were a better-run and less thrifty organization, Martin would be cut and we would start using the call-up to find our next 1-year bench player...and hope we strike gold.

Wall could sort of be like Derrick Rose in that aspect, rose just gives that little hesitation step and pops up for a floater from like 10 ft away its just deadly.

Love Booker. Out of all the "?" he is the keeper IMO... Vesely, Singleton, Seraphin, etc... Booker is the most talented and most impactful. He is the ideal PF off the bench for a spark. He just needs to stay healthy. But can he is the question.
