hands, I thought Olynyk got exposed quite a bit. Dat, you're also right about Olynyk.

The C from Southern threw a block party on Olynyk's post ups. He spiked shots like a volleyball player. Olynyk is a PF and one who is going to have some trouble backing guys down and scoring in the pros. He's not an elite rebounder. In order for him to have Brook Lopez-like effectiveness, Olynyk is going to have to be more assertive scoring from the perimeter. I was not all that impressed with Olynyk after previously really liking what I saw.

At least Gonzaga advanced, but that game was tight all the way. Kevin Pangos pulled them out of Southern's upset hopes.

I don't think Gonzaga makes it to the Sweet 16, Wichita St. looks pretty solid right now

Last I saw from Dat, he thought Olynyk would be one of the best options for the Wiz. I don't see him having the athleticism to play PF in the NBA. Brook Lopez is a great inside scorer in the NBA and usually does opponents a favor when he takes perimeter jumpers. Olynyk's strength in college is his inside scoring finesse moves. He doesn't have the big strong shoulders Lopez has to overpower people.

Ruz, I missed that post if that's what Dat said. He disagreed with me when I expressed that I had no problem with Olynyk as the pick. The context was don't trade this year's pick because of players like Olynyk being available.

I think Olynyk definitely has good size, poise, and a high basketball IQ. But like you I'm concerned about the finesse scoring. He doesn't overpower and he cannot elevate that quickly. His shot is going to get packed a bunch.

I think the Wizards still could use a player with his skills, but I'm looking at other players I prefer more with Olynyk's age and athleticism perhaps downgrading him a bit. The area where he will excel is in transition but he's going to have a hard time on the low blocks in the NBA.

When I watched him before the tournament, he looked like a perimeter player to me. Stretch 4 type.

He is not the Okafor replacement we need. He isn't a Nene replacement either.

I was starting to warm up to Bennett but watching him yesterday
Maybe he eventually develops but man, I didn't like he floor activity at all. Someone is really going to need to put in a lot of work to turn him into a legit NBA starter.

Burke really struggled as well but he has a great motor.
I was never really a fan of Smart.

The more I watch, the more I just come back to where I started which is players like Porter, VO, McCollum and Withey. And my late arrivals where Pierre Jackson and Cory Jefferson. Maybe Plumlee and Gorgui Dieng.

I never warmed up to Zeller but I will keep watching. Still watching Mason Plumlee also.

McLemore will be solid for what he does but he doesn't seem like a complete player for top 5 pick.
Muhammad will be Muhammad. Lots of shots. Again, not sure I would take him top 5.

There are some pieces in this draft but there is lots of incomplete players.

I watch Nate Wolters yesterday. great handles. Kid looks like he can play. He seems driven. Good motor.

Scarey draft. Going to be easy to pick to wrong player(s) in this one.

I think the key to this draft is... know what you are getting. A lot of these players have holes. Know what they are and don't over project them to be more then that. I see lots of solid depth but few starters.

I really want Wolters on the Wizards. There is no way he'll be anything but good and a crowd favorite.

+1.
Oladipo/Zeller play at 4:10.
CJ Leslie is playing right now (halftime). I think he's a 2nd round sleeper, although Nivek/YODA disagrees with me.
Shabazz plays at 9:57. Would love to see a monster game from him.

Aaron Craft with 7 assists and 7 steals in about 28 minutes of play. Amazing.

JT III is overrated. They shouldn't fire him, but they ought to put him on notice, get some damn post season success or part ways.

Weird. I'm dead last in the rankings, but 2nd in "possible points". I've only picked 17 right out of 28, but despite that, 13 of my Sweet 16 picks are still alive and all of my Elite 8 picks are still alive.

Georgetown played scared. Very disappointed with Otto Porter.

I'm a Big Ten guy and not surprised they lost. VERY limited offensively and if their shots don't fall, they lose.

Kevin, your bracket looks strong in our contest.

This year, I doubt that anyone in yahoo or espn gets a 100% accurate bracket. It's brutal.

My cousin's dog, Molly, is currently leading my family's pool. She's got Duke winning it all.

thank you Indiana and Oladipo for that game-winning 3...my bracket would have been done...still tied for 4th! Nivek's bracket is looking pretty strong.
