He's earning a lot of money to have zero points at this time in the game.

What an incredibly lame "buzzer beater" shot by Lowry. He clearly waited to hear the horn before shooting it. It's like he's not even trying to look like he is playing hard. Most players have diligently developed the skill of releasing the ball a split second after the buzzer. Lowry needs to add that to his game this offseason.

But its the style with which he misses that makes his contract worth it.

Wall has 8 points and the Wiz are up by 11 on the road. I can live with that!

Martell is doing a nice job of driving down his free agency value. As of March 22th, his 3P% was an incredible .453. In just 4.5 games, he's lowered it down to a more pedestrian .429.

The Raptors look like they're trying as hard as the Wizards were at the beginning of this season.

The Gay trade was ruinous for Toronto. They should have tanked to get Bennett and then rebuilt around him, DeRozan, and Valanciunas. Lowery/Calderon would have been perfectly able to run the point and Ross could have eventually been the starting SG. Good young core. No superstars, but a Grizzlies-esque construction of five good starting players. The only impediment would have been Bargnani's contract.

Now they've got two awful contracts in his and Gay's. Gay is blocking the development of Ross too. They're stuck in the late lottery, maybe they improve to a 7 or 8 seed as Valanciunas gets better. They're cooked. They should probably fire their GM and try and deconstruct the team, building around Valanciunas and maybe DeRozan.

Remember how we were supposed to be trading Beal + something else for Gay? What a ridiculous load of BS.

I remember wearing this t-shirt all the time as a kid after they won the title.

Bullets Fever! Happens to me every year

Bullets Fever. And this year’s the one

Bullets Fever. Got the Doctor and the Iceman

Bullets Fever. Seattle was stunned

You’ve gotta be a fan from old DC

To know what the Bullets mean to me

To see them get up and go all the way

For me Bullets Fever is here to stay

Bullets Fever! Happens to me every year

Bullets Fever. And this year’s the one

Bullets Fever. Got the Doctor and the Iceman

Bullets Fever. Seattle was stunned

C.J. and Larry, Greg, Joe and Mitch

Ran the Bomb Squad into a ditch

C.J. Tom and Larry are fast as light

Kevin, Bobby and Elvin they shoot out of sight

Aint it beautiful how Bobby D plays so great

With the Big E!

(inaudible) …we blew the Sonics out

Now all the world knows what our team’s about

Bullets Fever! Happens to me every year

Bullets Fever. And this year’s the one

Bullets Fever. Got the Doctor and the Iceman

Bullets Fever. Seattle was stunned

With all his heart Wes fought the west

Now every Bullet wears a champion’s ring

They’ve got our town screaming and stompin’

They turn it into a family thing

Come on coach Motta

King of basketball chess

Come on now fans support them every test

Bullets Fever! Happens to me every year

Bullets Fever. And this year’s the one

Bullets Fever. Beat the best in the world

Bullets Fever. Now we’re number one!

Bullets Fever. Come on Bobby D

Bullets Fever. Put in a swish for me

Bullets Fever. Let’s see that turnaround, Mr. Hayes

Bullets Fever. See your play is amazing

Bullets Fever. Hey Dick and Bernie, we’re pulling for you

Bullets Fever. Dreams come true

I loved that phrase. Dick Motta was great. Spence, I was just getting interested in watching sports (i was like 10-11 years old then) when the Bullets won. Elvin Hayes was my fav player, although I also loved Kevin Grevey for some reason.

My son, now 19 has never seen the Wizards or Redskins win much, so I'm really hoping we see a change.

This is really ugly. Amazing how bad the Wiz offense looks with Wall in there.
