Out of the 17 games there are 11 guaranteed losses with 3 50/50 games. They'll be a complete mess at the break and based on the character of this roster they'll likely fold like a lawn chair during the break and continue to play AAU front-running ball, i.e. not winning basketball.

Winning @ Chicago tonight was unexpected but yeah, this looks likely. Let the tank roll!

The next stretch of games will make or break this team. I think the goal should be 10-7 over their next 17 games. That would put them at 27-25 heading into the All-Star break and nearing the trade deadline. They would at least have to entertain the thought of making a move.

Gotta keep blowing these games to beatable teams. Gotta keep reminding ourselves that this organization is one of the worst in professional sports, and maybe, just maybe, another lottery trip and and an empty arena will finally convince Ted "Smartest Guy In The Room" Leonsis to make some changes.

If you are a Wizards fan, you should be ROOTING FOR LOSSES. The more losses, the better. More losses means Wittman gets canned. More losses means Grunfeld might get canned. More losses means Ariza and Gortat might be traded for value. More losses means that we can actually see what we have in Porter. More losses means that Leonsis might just invest in player development and not marketing.

One more win for the next 3 weeks and we may get knocked down to the 9th seed. 21-30 isn't bad enough yet unfortunately.

After last nights debacle, I can't wait for it to play out this way! Unfortunately no one will care if the Wizards go on a 1-11 streak into the AS break.

So you got 2 correct and 4 wrong.

Face it. You can't predict this team. All we know it that with this coach, they will win about half of them over the long hall.

Next 5 games will be losses. I hope. I hope it starts the tumble down.

I'm really torn.

On one hand I would like that so they can get ride of Randy.

On the other hand, its more important that they look stable and at least .500 so they can establish that they aren't a complete joke of an organization so FA would be more likely to come here and they can get a better GM and HC.

I think it might be better they do the later. People will understand it was Randy holding them back and appreciate that they saw it throw. I think I am settling in on excepting that.

Its just going to be a bumpy ride the rest of the year with more disappointing games like Boston and Utah. If anything is going to get better, its going to be because Wall and Beal take another step on their own. It is what it is.

FA will take us seriously if we get rid of the worst coach and front office in the NBA. Do you really think that Ernie is going to bring in any quality FAs? He's literally had one good FA signing since leaving New York, Gilbert Arenas (who decided on a conflip).

They will beat OKC without Westbrook, they at least owe them after the last meeting.

I'm against tanking. I think the team is a .500 team.
I don't think this draft is as top heavy as people might think. After consuming a lot of information about this draft, I don't think all the "predestined superstars" will declare this draft. Unfortunately, this draft is very deep. We have obvious needs...but no pick ( I assume we make the playoffs).

This road trip could be very brutal, but their schedule is very easy toward the end. They will rattle off a big win streak and have momentum going into the playoffs.

The best FA/draft move this team can make this summer is getting rid of Randy and EG.

Why tank? What would that accomplish?

We have no bench. Why is that? Because of all the picks 6 or higher that EG has made, they were either busts or got chased off the team for being a "knucklehead."

No need to tank. Just fire EG.

The worse the record the better the chance that EG is let go.

I know that's tongue in cheek, but...

Ted's the boss, he can do what he wants. If he feels letting someone new man the GM spot would help the team, he could make that change at any time.

I think what Ted really wants is validation that he made the right choice giving EG a new contract 2 years ago. I don't think helping the team is his main priority. Letting EG go would be akin to admitting a mistake. I think he would rather eat dirt than admit a mistake.

Brooklyn is about to bump us out of the 6th spot which hopefully means 1st round sweep even if we make the playoffs. which means we forfeit our pick for nothing. which hopefully means eg fired. Lets go Brooklyn. Lets go!!

Yep, Brooklyn looks like they will blow by us... but does that = EG firing? Don't we have to miss the playoffs for that to happen?

Ted is a stubborn guy. He won't make changes in the front office unless the team misses the playoffs. I think missing the playoffs would be a great thing to finally break out of this inept management and get in real minds in here who know how to manage resources and get the team to new heights.

Ted has said that he is going to evaluate EG on his performance while under his employment.

That's all. He has nothing on the line other than a promise to wait until the end of EG's contract to make a decision.

All I'm saying is, if you have enough data NOW to fire EG NOW, and the reason you're firing him is because of his inability to manage crises, why would you give him a whole half a season to mismanage some other crisis?

Sick of losing. I don't think this draft will be as good as people think. I want a 3 seed. Lets start winning.
