.

40%

That's my over/under line for the percentage of Heat bandwagon fans at the Verizon Center tonight.

players are also just like fans. They get down when the stars are out also. Totally unmotivated while the stars backups are hyped to play. Thats why teams either lose those games or go through hell to win most of the time

They really aren't though. Indiana has the tie breaker and only has Orlando left to play. Plus Miami has been riding Lebron for a while now. He needs the rest. Had Indiana lost yesterday, Lebron would play for sure.

exactly - looks like MIA is figuring the greater risk is not resting their guys.
Unless IND loses to ORL, IND has the #1 seed. IND has an advantage there since
MIA won't know the outcome of that game until Wed night.

This is crazy but I wonder if MIA can stop AlJeff. The wild card for CHA is Walker's groin injury.

It would be so fitting if the big 3, or 2/3rds of them, didn't play AND the Heat lost.
Hope those Wiz ssn tix holders reamed those folks good for those tickets. :)
The only bad thing about that is that it would make them gun shy about paying
top dollar next year if we play a late game.

We play bad against nobodies, so this could end up being bad. Hopefully they do the mature thing and close this one out hard.

Prof. Miller should post up Rio/Cole every chance he gets. Stick Ariza on Wade and call it a day. Wall needs to show up for this one, we can't win with him coasting even if the Heat may be sans LBJ/Bosh.

Spo really hates Beasely for some reason (maybe from the 2008-10 days?) but he's starting Chalmers, Douglas and Wade is the SF. Odd

Im at the game now and a bunch of the groupies here booed when LeBron and Bosch were posted as inactive. The Heat are starting Wade, Haslem, Battier, Douglas and Chalmers. Douglas goes for 60.

It's pretty obvious that Miami is resting Bron and Bosh in a purposeful attempt to avoid us in the first round. They're clearly scuurd.

What's obvious is that even with two of their best players out, they're a better basketball team.

Wall has no confidence in his J right now and all his jumpers are on the move while at the same time he passes it every time he gets to the rim. I dont get it. There hasnt hardly been even one time lately where he got to the rim, kicked it out, and it was a good look. Most of the time it did nothing but reset the offense or result in a turnover. Shoot the damn balll at the rim

Bad turnovers so far. Beal playing stupid. Wall needs to be more assertive. Probably hard for him since he picked up that dumb and 1 foul to start the game. Just terribly energy to start.

Glad Gortat looks like shaq out there I guess.

when Wall is not a difference maker then anyone can beat us. We have no chance in the playoffs if his game doesnt return soon

UD is MIA's guy in the paint and we aren't attacking the basket. Way to go Randy.

They're over playing passing lanes, someone **** cut to the rim god damnit. Bring in Porter.
