The bench has played some really good ball today.

Young, Songaila, Pecherov all have looked solid today.

Pecherov's defense has been a major surprise. He hasn't scored, yet he's played +9 ball.

Great on rotations and help defense.

The thing that's impressed me most about Opec has been the fact that he hasn't come into the game throwing up whatever shot he wants. He's been patient and played solid D. He even made a nice shot against Dirk.

Basically, he's not playing like a Rookie.

Sounds like the Wiz are playing gread D on everyone not named Howard. Dallas shooting 40%. Terry and Nowitzki are being contained.

EJ makes IMO a bad move coming in with Blatche instead of Haywood or just sticking with Pecherov.

Ruz, they are playing a great game.

Everybody is scrambling on defense, forcing a lot of turnovers.

Howard just won't be denied and has made a couple tough shots and some threes.

I think Brendan is hurt. He has something wrapped around his neck.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Dagger! If Butler isn't an All Star this year the process is officially rigged.

I think Dirk at C is why. I'll give EJ the benefit of a doubt (after calling it a bad move, I know) because Dallas is going outside and not really attacking inside.

I think if Dampier were in EJ would probably play Brendan.

That said, Ruz, Haywood helps more than Andray most of the time.

Washington has thoroughly outplayed Dallas.

Pecherov, Young, even Blatche have all contributed. Stevenson's played a strong, strong game.

This Wizards team is really good. Dallas will go down to 27-13 and Washington will be 22-17. Five wins over .500 and getting better.

If EJ is smart he takes out Blatche in favor of Pecherov. He'll give up defense but at least Pecker isn't a fould waiting to happen. The last thing we need right now is stopping the clock and sending the Mavs to the line.

Keeping it positive, this is another win without Gil over a good team.

This is perhaps the best I've seen Washington defend. Dirk was the MVP last season. Terry was a Wizard killer in the past. Harris was a #5 pick.

Washington shut those guys down.
