Win or loose, I think next year we need a couple of goons who can clear the crease. With 2 players like that, this team would be awesome.

I was able to finagle a single. I'll be making friends with my neighbors.

One of the most obvious examples of the cliche "first you win, then you get good." This team has been severely outplayed the entire playoffs. They're LOUSY! And yet they still manage to squeak out important wins.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

I am curious how you were able to finagle one. I only checked the standard way to buy tickets, I'll get a little more dirty next round.

My boss/mentor is a VIP season ticket holder, so he has a username/password on ticketmaster that gives him some priority I think. As soon as game 6 ended he looked for pairs and found nothing. He bought this single, went to do it again and they had no more available. So I'd like to think I got the last seat in the house :-)

Man, I can't wait for tonight's game. Should be EPIC. Can we finally vex the demons of years past against the Pens PLEASE?

Yup, the Capitals can finally put away the ghost of past failures.

Seriously hope Gonchar doesn't play tonight. You know the Pens will be up an extra man a lot tonight... whatever takes away from that advantage.

Cant wait for this game to begin. I hope we play this game like we did in game 1 and 2. If we have as many shot on goal as they do, I think we will win. Go Caps!

Capitals run out of luck tonight. Varlamov could save this crap defense from embarrassment for so long. McPhail's blue line displayed it's true colors tonight. You can't expect to ride a hot goalie and a high powered offense (led by two consistent guys in Ovie and Backstrom) to bail you out every night.

Glad I didn't pay to go see this crap fest. It's amazing how unprepared this team looks in big games.

we didnt show up at all for this game. Are we asleep or what? They're just pouring the shots on goal. Man, we need a couple of goons to move people out of the crease and knock people into the boards. 4-0 now. Wow! This is pathetic.

What a disaster....came out in the first period flat again for the 8th straight game...Bodreau has to go. He was so badly outcoached. McPhee has to go for not shoring up our defense...

Boudreau is doing all he can with what he's given. It's not his fault that his team has a washed up Fedorov manning the 2nd line and a defense full of guys who would be lucky to play in the AHL.

This is all McPhee's fault. He's handed out bad contracts like candy and he's never had a clue on how to build a solid blue line.

This is how the off season should be:

1. Get rid of McPhee.
2. Don't bring back Morrison and Jurcina. Repalce one with Alzner and try to swing a trade or acquire a steady veteran presence.
3. Pray to god that a 2nd line center becomes available through trade.
