I half agree, pancakes, but I think everything you argue about Lebron could also be said of Wade here, too. Lebron might be a way bigger douche, but both guys are out for the numbers and its killing the Heat. Wade is busy trying to crash boards or trying to get teammates to hand him the ball so that he can try to score rather than spacing the floor.
If you get a chance and haven't seen it already, watch the last seconds of the Heat game. Instead of the supposed shooting guard spreading the floor, Wade knows the only way he gets the ball is if he goes and gets it himself. So instead of spacing the floor to give Lebron room, he calls for and gets a short pass from Bosh on the pick, then, after failing to find a driving lane because Lebron is already in the paint and Bosh is between him and the bucket along with a crowd of defenders, Wade grudgingly gives the ball back to Lebron because he can't shoot, and Lebron hoists an awful shot because he can't drive, because instead of moving to spread the floor, Wade has moved underneath the basket to try and grab an offensive rebound. In doing so, he clutters the paint cutting off Lebron's drive and Lebron forces the shot rather than moving the ball to an open shooter. Wade actually gets the offensive board and misses the behind-the-basket fadeaway as the clock runs out. It's pretty hilarious to watch. Both guys are dieing to just take over like they used to and neither is willing to play off the ball; Lebron, because of his ego, and Wade because I'm not sure he actually knows how or has the skills to be successful playing off the ball in the NBA.

Five loses in a row after and six loses in seven game except for 1 win against they wiz.
And this is after the all star break. LMFAO
And they face LA tonight.
If you think your record pre all star break means something, you might want to call EFJ.
I hope they lose home court. and go out in the first round. That would be so funny.
Then... The new CBA comith. 48M for 3 player next year
Nice.
52M the following year.
But Miami as a team is setting nicely if they want to trade one of them. They should be able to get a lot of assets in return.

Didn't they split the series? With Wade and Le BJ, the Heat can't lose all the games.

No, the Heat beat the Lakers twice--the one top team they can better is the Lakers.
Watching the Heat, the truth of the matter is they lost four of those five right at the end and are very tough when they remember to get Bosh involved in the offense early.
Tonight, I thought Spoelstra made the right coaching adjustments by playing role playing bigs Ilgauskas and Howard, and instructing them to set solid screens and to play physical ball. Ilguaskas was pushing and shoving Bynum like I've never seen before. Howard set some nice high screens for Wade. The Heat attacked Gasol defensively with Wade and Bosh beating him off the dribble in iso's. The two guys who really looked bad last game, Miller and Bibby, stepped up tonight. Miller stuck to getting boards and didn't force shots. Bibby came off some really good screens and made open looks. Most of all, James got the memo and deferred to Wade down the stretch. They played well off each other, with James being a facilitator.
I don't root for the Heat at all, but tonight they made adjustments I didn't expect to see.
Uncharacteristically, Kobe got beat tonight. After hitting the threes, Wade got the best of him. They could probably beat LAL in a series, because they neutralize Kobe.

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

In the first half, Kobe got nice open looks off of screens. For some strange reason, he started to go one on one with Wade.
The Lakers guards didn't box out at all... and Gasol played soft and slow. 2nd chance points was the difference.
But it seems the Heat only get up to play the Lakers out of all the top teams... every other one they have points where they completely fall asleep. The Lakers probably can't beat the Heat for the reasons you stated in a NBA finals series... but it probably won't get to that point because Miami is going to have trouble with Boston and/or Chicago in the postseason

Lakers let the game slip away. When they were on that 9-0 run in the 3rd, they had numerous chances to extend the lead, but they started getting sloppy with the ball. If they weren't so careless, they would've pulled away.
But what I want most is for the rest of the Eastern Conference to be injury-free come playoff time so they can be in full strength to knock off Prince James and the Heat.

Even if the Heat make it to the finals there is no guarrantee that they would face the Lakers. The Lakers might be the favorites, but I think the Spurs, Thunder and even Mavs have a decent shot at making the finals.

the heat matchup nicely with the Lakers because the Lakers dont have an elite point guard aka Rose

So what you're saying is the Wizards are constructing their lineup to beat the Heat?
LeBJ to Wall: If you miss these shots, game over.
Wall to LeBJ: Game over when Delonte slam jams your mother.
Go Wizards!

Even though I'm sick of him (see the media covering him practicing AFTER the loss last night) , I can't bet against Kobe Bryant in the playoffs
The Lakers bigs have to be involved especially Bynum... it is astonishing why they dont just give it to him in the block more to overpower his man... he did it a couple times on Bosh/Ilgaskus last night

or even NY and/or ORL
MIA does not match up that well against the better teams in the
east. I don't know if I'd even bet on them getting out of rnd 2.

SO DOUCHEY. i'm roughly lebron's age. He was 6 years old when the fab five was coined and 8 when Webber called that time out. I was 7. NOBODY our age gave a crap. i remember it being funny - that's about it. However, the fact that an 8 year old could realize that they brought "swagger" to the game? realize the implications of freshmen starting? For lebron and me, growing up in the pre-internet, pre-cable age and being functionally illiterate, i have trouble swallowing that. plus, college kids were ADULTS as far as we kids were concerned. now he's acting like he was down with the movement? please.
to add insult onto injury, the ONLY team he wanted to watch as an Ohioan was MICHIGAN basketball? just so over-the-top douchey it boggles the mind.

He's just trying to make Juwan feel like part of the team without having to pass him the ball.

Baron Davis was huge, Hollins man handled Bosh, Hickson got his, Anthony Parker was money from three. I was rooting for the Cavs hard, good win for them.
LeBron on why he was absent from pregame introductions (Cleveland fans booing him upon his name being called): "I was using the bathroom" LMAO

I saw this score at half time and I was hoping that would happen.
Simple AWESOME.
Good for the Cleveland fans.
I guess as time goes on, I will slowly not hate the Cavs. It was about LaDouche more than the team.
Besides, we dumped AJ on them.

Nice one. I just can't believe Lebron is for real. He's the gift that keeps on giving (easy material).
