Of course he can, it's just that Wittman pretty much played him the entire game and he was gassed.

Funny some guys on that Toronto board. You still have some people on that board talking about Washington isn't that good, how are they down 0-3, lmfao!

I'm a Hawks fan, but just coming from a place of neutrality and liking John Wall's game, I said that Toronto didn't have any clear advantages in this series and that Washington would dominate. And people keep saying, no way Washington will sweep. WELP! lol.

My favorite part of that Paul Pierce dagger was Wall, Gortat, and Porter all crashing the boards for the rebound. Even if he missed it they had an easy put back.

It's not like Sessions is a great backup.

I criticized Wall and Beal after the fourth quarter of game one. Since then I have ZERO complaints. After three games, I am happy with Wall and Beal. Their intensity has been high. They are getting it done.

Wall's mistakes clearly occurred when he was tired. After every timeout tonight, he ran a nice set. Wall consistently found Gortat inside. He even found Beal at the basket.

One key play that got momentum started in the fourth is when Wall got the and-1 after attacking the basket.

Despite heavy minutes, Wall closed strong. He has been an amazing playmaker the past two games. He's also given tremendous effort on defense.

It's nice to see this!

I hope to see Sessions do something positive in game four. Wall and Beal won't be able to play so many minutes against the Hawks.

I am convinced that the Wizards have upped their play. However, I won't know until the next round exactly how much. The Hawks have good athletes, terrific three point shooting, very balanced scoring, and unlike the Raptors they are very well-coached.

Well my prediction for Game 4!

Washington jumps out to a lead and never looks back. They come out hitting their shots from the beginning, and stretch the lead further and further and the entire house just comes crumbling down on Toronto. Crowd going crazy, and Toronto just gets blasted. That's how these closeout games usually go. Toronto is beat up, withered, wounded, smacked up, jacked up, tired, and the last emotion that they will feel is that "Humiliation" of being swept on Washington's home court.

Those Raptors fans talked all that trash about how they wanted to play Washington and they'd probably sweep them and all that, thought it would be a easy series for them. Man then your 1 game from getting swept? "Pride comes before the fall"

When you've never won anything and your franchise is still seen as an "Expansion Franchise." You should remain humble until you actually win something, then talk a little after that. Washington is the better team in this series point blank period and they proved it on the court. Washington ya'll got some cool fans no doubt. Will be great to see ya'll play my Hawks in the 2nd round.

Wizards where one of the better percentage shooting 3 teams in the league all year but shot near league bottom in 3s.

But in these playoff, we are going with PP, Gooden at S4.. Its opening the floor.

They saved playing PP there just for the playoff.

Tonight, Wizards shot 12-29... they averaged 16.8 for the reg season.

in the post season, they are averaging 23.7 which is 6th

29 three is a huge number for them. This is great experience if they are to stay a chance against ATL

The crowd seemed pretty pathetic on TV, FWIW.

Super fun game, but Toronto is awful.

I must say the team that went 46-36 in a weak East is not the team we are right now. Pierce at the 4 & Porter morphing into a prime Tayshaun Prince makes us so much more dangerous as team. I don't know if we can beat Atlanta who's been great most of the year but I know we can push them to the limit playing the way we are right now.

I think that Atlanta is hurting... Milsap's shoulder, Horford's finger, Sefolosha is out.

If Wittman starts with a stretch 4 and has Nene come off the bench we are fine...

Yeah, it was real nice to add one more legit starting-caliber player into the rotation. It's a huge upgrade to our depth. Now we've got 6 legit starters plus Gooden, Humphries and Sessions who can contribute without embarrassing themselves.

If only we had Isaiah Thomas instead of Sessions...

Three balls.
12-29 Wiz to 10-28 TOR

Tor had 12 steals to Wiz 4
But Wizards had 13 block to Tor only 2

Wiz 31 FTA to TOR 19
Wiz 27 ast to 21 for TOR
But Wiz 17 TOs to TOR 9

What a game

13 blocks is astonishing for this team. I'm glad to see Gooden prove me wrong by making several big plays. Hopefully, he can keep it up. And Gortat would have had 30 points if he wasn't unselfish to a fault in the 4th quarter. He passed up several easy shots near the basket - but still had a tremendous all-around game. That Pierce and Otto combo in crunch time was beautiful - and that's what closed the victory.

But the difference in this series is Randy going to small ball and using PP at the 4.

Love me so Truth but it wasn't only The Truth...Lots played a hand...

Let not forget Gooden... 12 pts 3 block 7 rebounds and 3-6 from 3 in only 18 mins.

Paul was 18 pts 0 block 3 rebounds and 4-7 from 3 in 27 mins

Gooden was also HUGE.Dude has been unappreciated all year. Even had people calling to sit him this game.

GOODEN CROW IS BEING SERVED ON TABLE 2... USE THE ORANGE SAUCE. Makes it a little taster.

I never expected them to play much PP at S4 during the season, but they could have played way more Gooden at S4 during the season. I never imagine that wasn't going to happen more during the season. This was so easily a 50 plus win team but regular season Randy either doesn't get it, or is so patient that he held all of this for the playoffs so no one had tape on it.

As for Otto. I wanted him to get more minutes down the stretch last season so we could use him more in the playoffs. He could have helped then as well. But last end of season were were struggle just to hold onto our positioning.

Imagine how bad the Raps must feel right now. They had a chance to win but were killed by those 4 late 3s. The fact that the last 2 came from Pierce, the guy who has been talking smack about them and buried them last year, has to be a crushing feeling.

I was at the game last night and I was real disappointed in the crowd for most of the game. Far too little energy and noise considering it was a playoff game. The only time the crowd got really amped up was when Pierce hit those two 3pters in the 4th quarter.

Of course, the crowd was its loudest when Toronto was at the FT line in the 4th qtr and fans were rooting for a free chikfila sandwich. I hated that.

We are better prepared to make it a series now that we have warmed up to playing Gooden and PP at S4 more and we have OttoMagic in the house.

It would be hard for teams to gauge the Wizards because there isn't much game tape on them playing this style. They shot 29 three ball last night. They averaged 17 a game during the season. This was always their problem when it came to playing TOR and ATL type teams. They just didn't spread the floor and shot enough 3 to keep up. They were all Nene/Gortat post power.

Now they can do both. And thats a more dangerous.

That our DC Chicken Fans.. LOL

You can hear how load they could get. Maybe they need to change the name to the Washington Chicken Nuggets and for every game we win, you get 1 chicken nugget for every pt we win by. That would keep them involved the entire game.
