So if the Nats started 18-32 (is that right?) how did they do the rest of the way? 75-37? If true that's a 67% winning percentage, better than the Dodgers. FWIW.

It's a team game. Washington has a star in Rendon and a pending one in Soto. But most of the is built of grinders, great starting pitching and a horrendous bullpen. That weakness was not as glaring in the postseason because Davey did a nice job of using his starters in relief. I thought he'd do it last night with Scherzer, but Hudson held on.

Great accomplishment and maybe this is a great team despite lacking the great talent of the Dodgers, Yankees and Astros.
