Yeah, that's like... kindof an important point. I mean, how stupid do people have to be to not understand this? This isn't about what party you belong to - or whether your liberal, conservative, or whatever. It's basic common sense for people with over a 10 year old functional development.

Seriously?!?... who the hell is "We"? Because the people, Supreme Court, and congress didnt make any international agreements... Obama did.

I mostly stay out of this thread because it gives me a jaded view of folks on this board whose opinion on basketball related topics I respect.
I know some of you get upset with SD and the MAGA movement in general, but understand where our attitude comes from. We have been told how stupid/naive we are, how Trump could never get the R nominee, then never be president. Then, we were told he colluded with Russia, would bankrupt our country, offend world leaders, and lead us to nuclear war... This was a common, prevailing thought among many news outlets...

Now, interest rates have risen to a more fair rate and our housing/stock market is up. We have completely decimated ISIS and their occupied land. We have single handily managed the dynamics in the Pacific to allow for peace with the Korean Peninsula, japan, and China.

And... more to come.
So Ill leave the snarky comments to SD. I'll just sit back and let you'll plug CNN and Rachel Maddow segments so you can feel woke. Wait, the porn stars shady lawyer said what now... oh yeah, dont give damn

I mean, we'll be included because we're so big and important we can't be ignored. But we won't be leading the negotiations and we won't be able to get things in return for promises of delivering future things. We're done - we're in the uncooperative solution of the prisoner's dilemma forever now.

Bush, followed by Obama followed by Trump - collectively the three stooges of international affairs.

Why not just wind down the military and pull back to the US? At this point - are we really helping?

Yes, seriously and Again... this is NOT ABOUT POLITICS, and it doesn't matter who the President was when the agreement was made. It's the process. You can't unilaterally change your mind once an agreement is made unless someone broke the agreement. Otherwise, why make agreements in the first place? They'd be worth NOTHING.

This!!! So much this!!!

Obama thought he could govern via executive order instead of including congress. Which is odd. Given how "polished" Obama was. and affable. Why not put deals together with congress R's in congress and use his "personality" to sell it to his base? Why not get more done when he had the super majority?? Too lazy? Were the D's too full of themselves and thought they would have the super majority forever?? Celebrated too much from the historic victory? Foolishly took on healthcare first?? See thats the problem with most D's, they think the "work" in congress is to get elected. Once elected they stop working for the american people to make the country better. "better" for D's is making social changes like that bathroom stalls nonsense. As the majority they haven't done meaningful legislation in decades and as the majority they simply "resist."

Bottom line Obama had his chances and DID NOT fulfill one single campaign pledge with the super majority. I mean...did Obama campaign on anything besides changing the grid (to green)??!! Remember that?!! "No more gasoline cars by 2016!!!!" Thanks obama for all the lies!!! Because I actually wanted that green grid. I voted for obama for that green grid.

here's the bottom line. The D's on this website have been viciously attacking conservatives since i began reading it every day about 1.5 years ago. And in SD20 they found their huckleberry. 8-) They are all hat, no cattle. All bark, no bite. In congress that are All talk, do very little for the american people. in fact they are actively resisting positive change for the american people and have been on a 2 lies and smear campaign. D's like Schiff, Waters, Ted lieu, pelosi, Sanders, warren and Kamala harris and a few others have been on a vicous smear and lie campaign against the current duly elected president of the united states.

Now Booker thinks he is going to be the next president so he has backed off. as have warren and harris. sanders can see with his own eyes that the country is doing quite well. perhaps as well as it has during his entire life on congress. So he shuts up once he sees the stuff is working.

In addition to these higher profile D's, HRC, the deep state, and Obama himself at times have been actively working to undermine the trump administration. To say nothing of the former Obama SoS actively campaigning against trump admin foreign policy as trump is breaking with the old policy, Kerry was campaigning to revive it.

And THAT is the problem with the D's.

THEY DONT WANT TO DO THE REL WORK.

THEY DONT WANT TO PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO MAKE DEALS.

SO THEY JUST RESIST THE FOLKS THAT ACTUALLY PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO MAKE THE DEALS THAT CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT

HAVE PUT TOGETHER.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

WRONG!!!

Obama made that crampy deal. Not the people of the united states of america. I personally would have never sent that that money!!! nsd FTR it was NOT this islamic militant state's money!!!!! It was the Shah's regime money!!! The US and brittain confiscated this money at various times when they nationalized their oil reserves in the 1950's (brittain) and when the Ayahtollah overthrew the Shah regime in the 1979. That money? That wealth?? was a part of being a fully accepted "western civilization" and allowed to trade on the world's stage. Thats how they had the wealth to being with. We gave it to them by buying their oil. When the ayahtollah overtook the shah and seized control of the country, the oil, and took american hostages. we seized that money right back!!!

And Iran has done NOTHING since 1979 to deserve that money back. Why did obama give it back to them??? Why did Obama allow them to continue to spin their uranium centrifudges??? Why was their a sunset provision in the deal???? the deal was awful!! horrible for america!!! And just plain stupid!!!!!

And Trump knew that 3 years ago.

look bud. Trump has taken on everyone and everything. and is kicking all their asses along the way.   Trade imbalances. manufacturers leaving the US. American Cash being held oversees in foreign banks. Unemployment. food stamps. closing the border to illegals. fake lying ass news sources. North korea. and on deck?? Iran.

Anyhow, I gotta a little song for the 3 freed hostages. Wanna hear it? hear it go!

We understand how foreign policy is made. I'm sure you'll be very calm and accepting when the next Dem president rolls back everything Trump ever did in office because of the precedent he set.

Yeah man the white male reactionary class has been so poorly treated. You should definitely whine more about how you've been disrespected by those smug coastal elites. College students are such snowflakes though amirite!

Congratulations to Sec of State Pompeo for securing the release of the hostages, this is a god thing and separate from Trump corruption and money-laundering:

I don’t think he’ll be impeached, I think he’ll be forced to resign in the end, the pay for play stuff with the Russians and the slush fund will eventually catch-up with Trump.

serious question...why are you guys so desperate for this to be true?

it wont come true. because you need "pay-to-play" for it to be true.

1. you can accept money.
2. you can even make favorable policy to those to who you accepted money.
3. you just can NOT have accepted money AND agreed to make favorable policy and then also enacted favorable policy. (need all 3)

You are proving my point.

1) Yes, If Trump elects to play with fire and not go through the legislation process then thats a risk he takes. I would hope that the Dem would at least be somewhat pragmatic like Trump and not do it his first day in office in the hopes of a middle ground.

2) Im a white male, so my opinion is invalid and/or should be made fun of? Interesting insight into the liberal mind. I'm simply telling you that many people had confidence that Trump would be a great president. Not only for his actions, but for his overall influence of politics moving forward. We are still in the early stages, but I like the SSS results. I think we are in the midst of the greatest 10-15 year period in modern US history.

3) Wait, you still think he colluded with Russia and we're heading to Nuclear war?!? Wow, I thought we were getting past this point. Guess not

4) I made zero assumptions about what people watch. I observe the fact that many people in this thread put up you tube videos from CNN, NYT and MSNBC about how Trump is ruining the US... are you saying that am wrong and that isnt occurring?

Again, I still think the best/most profound changes are yet to come. It takes a lot of political capital to do something with healthcare, entitlements, etc. The economy is looking really good, the tax reduction is helping people, and an international win (I.E. Korea) could be enough to get the ball rolling.
