Nah, Hands is right. You gotta give credit where credit is due. Nene has played 32 games in a row averaging almost 30 minutes a game.

In the last 20 games, he's averaged 32.6 minutes per game and has played less than 30 minutes on just 3 out of those 20 games. That's either pure luck, or somebody in the training staff knows what they are doing.

Shooting is in the legs. Regardless of it you jump high or not. Look how short and flat Millers shot looked.

Point is, Nene was a beast last night and he does seem to be looking healthier. It wasn't just last night. I posted about this before.

What I will say is this. Nene does seem to coast sometimes. But when he is feeling good and bringing it, he is a load. Specially against smaller bodies like A Davis and Stiemsma. He just bullied them out of the way. He was a dunking machines last night.

Lets see if he and Gortat can take it to Thompson and Zeller tonight. They also have Hawes now so should be interesting to see who they cover him with on the perimeter. Thats where Ves was nice to have.

He's faking it. He just wanted to see if Kevin was ready if an Wall would carry the team home.

All part of the master plan.

They passed the test.

I think it's serious. Non contact knee injuries are never good.

I doubt he's out the rest of the year but with his history, he might be gone for 10+ games..

He'll be well rested for the playoffs...might do him more good to actually be shut down for a while...hopefully it is minor and the staff is "careful" with him.

Couldn't open that link... But I fear ACL. Non contact, then collapsing in the tunnel.

There was contact. Jarrett Jack's ass hit his knee.

You see it kind of buckle in for just a second. Jack is running across his so its only for a second. Its not a hit going direction into the side of the knee.

In the case of a first degree sprain, sporting activities should not be undertaken for about 3 weeks.

For second degree sprains, the rehabilitation period will be between 6 and 8 weeks. Rehabilitation under the supervision of a chartered physiotherapist is desirable to prevent a recurrence of the injury, which can be common if a return to sport is attempted too early.

Here hoping its only a first degree sprain.

I blame hands11.

As soon as he remarked on Nene's recent health, Nene gets hurt. Karma is a b1tch.

Nenê's play has been down this season. They might be able to maintain their .500-ish pace even without him.

That said, it sure woulda been nice if they'd addressed their frontcourt depth issues in the offseason.

Hopefully he'll be okay.

I disagree because of the frontcourt depth issues. We are going to really miss his all-around game, from the playmaking to scoring to the defense. All our other options provide only pieces of this

hmm, I hope the "done for the season" rumor is not true.

Seriously where does this leave our floor for next season?
What seed should we realistically expect.

SUCKS!!!!!

I agree. The Wizards can probably survive the Nene - Booker downgrade in the starting line-up. The big issue is now having to rely on Singleton/Seraphin as the back-ups. Maybe there is a possible buy-out candidate, but they likely can only play one of the post positions(Kaman would probably be the best case).

Might be an MCL tear....which at his age and point would probably be a season ender, other-wise he could be back in 2 months.

I'm expecting the worst, and still holdin onto mah buttocks.
